“I purchased 2 plants online through B&Q the state of them was awful when they arrived and they will not let me return them or give me a refund. Avoid at all costs”
“Would give zero stars if possible. Totally agree with previous reviews. Ordered 2 trees- arrived poorly packaged and unlabelled. One shows no signs of life. Fobbed off saying it may yeti grow. Won't now respond to messages & obviously no chance of refund. Thought I would get a better product from a nursery but may as well have just bought from Home Bargains or B&M
Avoid at all costs. Will never use again.”
“Sold a dead plant through the post then refused refund whilst making up lies about plant growth to try and get out of it. One of the worst companies I have dealt with.”
“Do not use this nursery they are unco-operative and rude
Ordered 15 Cherry Laurels were only sent 8 waited for 7 more only to receive 2 and Beechwood have said as DPD has delivered 2 boxes it’s the end of the matter
The MATTER IS we received a Box containing just 2 laurels Not 7
We have paid £175 for 15 and only received 10 HAVE ESCALATED OUR DISPUTE WITH BQ Don’t use them
It smells like a scam!!”
“Truly terrible quality! They’re clearly trying to fob off their damaged and dying plants. Avoid. I ordered two catmint plants that arrived looking scraggly with dead, yellowing leaves. I sent images and exchanged dozens of messages with this woman called Charlotte who said if I’m not happy with the plants that I can return them at my own expense for a refund.”
“Absolutely terrible customer service. Bought a bare root tree in autumn, no buds or any sign of life! No refund offered. Poorly packaged which I suspect was the reason it failed! Would not recommend this company at all. AVOID!”
“Been buying plants/ shrubs for over 50years and this is the worst shrub I have ever seen. Pot pound, badly ring barked, obviously been partly broken off previously. Unbelievable anyone could send this to a customer. Two main stems no sign of life. I will never use this firm again.”
“They misadvertised and the description is totally false! They sent a substandard product then not willing to arrange courier for returns. They are also very rude as suggested by other reviewers and try their best to justify in anyway possible their error. I've been buying from lots of nurseries and have had great fig and fruit trees with height between 100cm and 150cm. This is the only nursery thing with different names i.e. 3fatpigs, beechwood etc who advertised a large tree then delivered what looked like a shrub with a height of 30ish cm. My advice: don't touch them with a barge pole.”
“Quick delivery, I order a bay leaf plant through B&Q, The plant came from Beechwood Nurseries and we're really happy with it. It was well packaged and for the price I really didn't expect much, but it was well above what I expected. Wouldn't hesitate to order again from them.”
“Ordered 5 shrubs all arrived dead paid £19.99 for these contacted the seller he wants me to return these before giving me a refund they are not even worth a £1.00 each will never order from these again total rip off 😢 to all customers please dnt waste your money to be disappointed ,they are rubbish”
“Bought 10 green pivot hedge's awesome 3 .4 foot ..when they came they were ok ...all about 4 foot tall ..so I ordered 20 and was going to order a lot more .but when these can they were wrapped with a cain to make them look bigger ....18 were barely 3 foot tall and 2tied in a different bundle were 5 foot bit on a conn guys .”
“Got 3 buck thorn from them . All died and when left negative feedback on eBay they blocked me . Do not buy from them . They don’t respond to their negative feedback for sending out dead plants. Hope this helps others decide not to use them”
“Bought a tree from Beechwood and it's dead - they fobbed me off by saying it was dormant but after 5 months it's definitely dead and they refuse to refund the money or send a replacement. Won't deal with them again”
“I purchased a cherry tree in May - it arrived with no soil around the root, yet there were several green leaves at the top. All previous purchases of dormant trees from other suppliers had no leaves whatsoever. I followed the online instuctions but the tree is now as dead as the parrot in the Monty Python sketch. The reply to an email I sent also left a lot to be desired in the customer service skills dept.”
“Absolutely rotten customer service. I got Sent a rubbish tree and when I got in touch I got an even more rubbish response. Thankfully i our hard through Amazon so they will refund and look into their seller practises which are truly abysmal”
