“Wrong plant sent refused to send correct one!!!
I ordered a 3ft Barnsley baby shrub for £15 because of its small size but when it started flowering and growing taller and taller I realised they’d sent me the wrong shrub. They point blank refused to send me the correct shrub saying I was sending them pictures of one of my other shrubs!!! It is now in a small pot and about 7ft tall it’s huge!!!!”
“I ordered 3 gooseberry bushes for £15:99 in October last year. They were planted out the same way I've planted my other ones which are doing really well( wasn't from beechwood). I emailed beechwood saying that only 1 has come to life and the other 2 hasn't done anything. They said wait a bit longer as they might start a bit later. Well about 2 months later and still nothing and I pruned a little bit of the top to see if they are still alive and nope totally dead. Don't buy anything from this company as they just don't care and just want to take your money and don't give a dam about customers.”
“I purchased 10 bare root autumn bliss raspberry canes . Followed all instructions on planting them( I have been gardening for over 70 years so I think I know what to do)
None of them have lived. I think they were in transit too long. Firm not responding to my mail. Customer service none existing.

“I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. My experience is similar to many. A badly wrapped, bare-rooted miniature quince tree arrived. Despite great care, it showed no sign of life. I was fobbed off by them saying the photo sent showed lack of watering, then that bare rooted trees take longer to establish and, after sending photos of the dead tree and roots, they requested a photo of the colour under a bark scraping. In the meantime I bought a patio quince from You Garden (£29.99). It I arrived potted with leaves and blossom and is flourishing . AVOID BEECHWOOD NURSERIES!!”
“If I could give this company zero stars, I would. They supply shoddy goods, wrapped in only cling film with no protection, then fob you off continually when you try to tell them that the tree they supplied is dead, saying it is dormant. After waiting as instructed and supplying photos proving that the tree is in fact dead, they they refuse to respond to emails - we are now going via the bank to get a chargeback claim against them in order to get a refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - check the other reviews - there are many poor reviews about this company when you look at the total of 1, 2 and 3 star reviews and if you do have an issue, their customer service is non-existent.”

“Do not use this nursery. Bought a rhododendron plant through B & Q website but sold by Beechwood Nurseries. Plant was supposed to have orange flowers but plant that arrived only had 1 red flower on it. Which fell off after a few days. So plant was not what I wanted as only bought for the orange flowers. Beechwood not taking any responsibility & keep saying as it’s perishable it can’t be returned, then accused me of sending them a photo of a different plant! Kept fobbing me off for over a week sending various unhelpful emails. No sign of a refund. I am going to report them to Trading Standards.
B & q also absolutely useless & say it’s not up to them to refund even though it’s through their website.”
“Sells dead plants then blames the customer for not looking after them. Bought a grapevine from them last year, planted in the garden which is sandy and well drained, didn't look great when we got it with only 2 leaves which soon dropped off, but thought maybe the time of year so left it and hoped to see some signs of shoots this spring. After nothing, and the stems turning brown I lifted it out and there were no roots. Emailed them to tell them and all I got was it's been kept too wet. Informed them it wasn't as planted in well drained sandy soil but they didn't even have the decency to answer. AWFUL AWFUL customer service, stay well clear of them and spend your money somewhere that appreciates customers.”
“Absolutely terrible experience. Sent me a clematis with clematis wilt but they keep insisting it's a healthy plant.
The customer service is appalling, so rude and dismissive. I actually think they enjoy being aggressive and upsetting people.
Please don't order from this company- it's like banging your head against a brick wall. They have basically stolen £19.99 from me. I've given up with them now which is what the aim of their 'customer service' is.”
“I was sent the wrong plant. I ordered a elderberry GOLDEN TOWER from this trader via B&Q market place. I'm currently in dispute with customer services at the moment. When I checked Beechwood nurseries ltd/3fatpigs website they don't even stock the plant I ordered, but another called elderberry GOLDEN SPARK. It's an elderberry but a different variety and looks completely different. The 1st picture is what I ordered, the 2nd is what I received and 3rd is from 3fatpigs website. My advise is not to buy from this company, absolutely appalling attitude”
“I was sent the wrong tree and not offered a refund or replacement. I was treated with extreme rudeness by the customer service team. Planning to report to trading standards. I can only assume that beechwood nurseries had to rebrand as 3fatpigs as they had such a bad reputation. Don’t be fooled - same company same terrible service.”
“I felt completely mis-sold on a large order of hedging plants from this company. Apparently their measuring methods and height specifications differ from the standard approach other nurseries take yet they neglect to state that anywhere.
I tried to discuss this with their customer service, who were frankly rude, unapologetic and patronising. My only option was to repackage and return at my own expense leaving me out of pocket and back to square one.”

“I ordred 5 trees over 3 months ago which was fine as the dormant months are best for shipping and planting i was sent 2 trees then 1 tree when contacted to find out when the other 2 trees were comming i had to send pics of the trees i had turns out the sent 1 wrong tree and because i had planted it they wanted to charge more money basicaly there a shower of muppets and they dont even have a landline so stay away avoid avoid”
“I've also had a really bad experience. 5 bare root crabapple trees failed to take. Despite several requests on my part for refund, they completely refuse to give one. I've sent several emails, dating back to last May, plus numerous photos. I've never come across such appalling rudeness from their customer "service". No reason was given for refusing a refund. I'll be posting my thoughts on social media.”
“Horrendous customer service. Absolutely no interest in customer care. Once they have your money they will cease to help you. I spent £60 with them only to find the product they sent was dead. They blamed for not looking after it. It was dead within days of receiving it. Don't bother they are rude and unhelpful.”
