“Never received my order on a Saturday delivery due to the courier not delivering it, in the end I ended up asking for a refund and ordered from another online retailer. Beer hawk themselves were really nice, helpful, and processed my order quickly. gave me a full refund and apology even tough it was not their fault so overall a neutral review.”

“Very well priced beers, had a good selection to choose from. Unfortunately one of the cans had a sticky residue and little pieces of glass stuck inside the small gap on the top of the can. I understand that these things happen inside warehouses but the order should have been properly checked before posting. Would have returned the can for a replacement but I had a camping trip that weekend. Apart from that the beers where delicious and the accompanying tasting guide was a nice addition.”

“Ordered the beer as a gift and it was dispatched very quickly. This was where the positive news ended. It didn't arrive, and I had no contact from either UK Mail or Beer Hawk. 5 days after the proposed delivery day I rang UK Mail who informed me the case had been returned to beer hawk because it was damaged. I rant Beer hawk to be told the customer services department was closed and they would contact me. 4 days passed, no contact. I rang the company again to be told the department was closed. I later received a voicemail from Beer Hawk saying my order was dispatched and missed delivery because I wasn't in.. It did not contain even an apology, and even sounded accusation all as if it was my fault for being out at work. The fact the case was damaged and caused a delay isn't the source of frustration but the lack of contact from either UK Mail or Beer Hawk was outrageous.”

“I have ordered various beers that I have never heard of or drank before so it can be a gamble ordering Incase you don't like what you select.I can say that all the Porter type beers are great and the American Barley Wine is a must I am putting in another order imediately.Paul Estevez”

“Very impressed with Beer Hawk. Quick delivery, well-packaged, although the two boxes arrived on different days; probably this is more due the courier that BH dispatching them separately. The one criticism I do have is that I ordered the Wheat Beer Mixed Case (15 bottles), and although there were indeed 15 bottles, they weren't all the ones advertised on the website i.e. there were two bottles of Maisel's Weiss and no Weihenstephaner Hefe Weiss, for example.”

“My purchases, always from their Belgium Beer collection, are birthday presents. Although I don't get to try any I am very reliably told that each and every one of the beers has been fantastic and a joy to drink & savour! Ordering from Beer Hawk is easy and delivery is always quick. Will definitely be ordering from this site again.”

“Very efficient ordering over the 'phone with good updates on order confirmation and delivery progress. Slight hitch in that I requested a delivery on Saturday ( and paid extra for that ) but it was delivered on Friday ( i.e. early ). I guess they thought this would be better service but was disappointing as no-one was there to take delivery. Overall though, I was impressed.”

“I can't speak highly enough of Beer hawk. Great selection on website and my order arrived within 24hrs on standard delivery. The beers were very much enjoyed by my father as a fathers day gift. Top class.”

“The person I placed the order with got my new address wrong and didn't update my shipping address to my new address when asked. Once I realised the error in my confirmation email I contacted Beer Hawk immediately to ask for my details to be updated. I got no response. I phoned them and was told that the order was being processed and might be shipped to my old address. I then received an email stating that my address had been updated and was now correct. However, the order was still shipped to my old address. I told Beer Hawk as soon as I got the email from the delivery company that indicated my address was wrong. Beer Hawk said they stopped the delivery and it would be delivered to my correct address the next day. It wasn't. I contacted the delivery company, who told me that the delivery had been refused and that Beer Hawk had put a hold on the order and to contact them. I contacted Beer Hawk again and was told that they had attempted delivery to my current address and that the delivery was rejected. This is not true because I waited in all day for the parcel to be delivered and it wasn't. 5 days after the initial delivery date my order was delivered. The customer service was a joke, communication between departments seems to be non-existent and the whole experience was unnecessarily stressful. I will definitely never be buying from Beer Hawk again.”
