“Good selection, easy ordering, speedy delivery, beers enjoyed BUT - excessive packaging I feel, huge box for 5 beers .... I know it's precious cargo however ....... Environment & all that ......”

“This review is based on the American case. Nothing inherently wrong with it and all the beers contained within are examples of good quality. Given the vast number of good craft beers available in the US the variation in content between this and previous cases is minor, a little disappointing.”

“I ordered some beers three weeks ago but they still haven't arrived. I've contacted customer services several times about this but keep getting the same stock response that the beers are on their way, despite the fact that this clearly isn't true. They haven't apologised once and blame the delay on a delivery address change. The reason the address had to change is because Beer Hawk got it wrong in the first place (I ordered over the phone) and, regardless, I don't understand why an address change would cause a three week delay anyway. I've asked for a refund a couple of times but this request has just been flat out ignored so I don't hold out much hope of getting my money back. From reading other reviews I can see that Beer Hawk orders are usually good (when they work) but, if something goes wrong, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.”

“Beer Hawk put together perfect boxes for presents of unusual beer. I send one to my X every Xmas, Birthday and Fathers day.....He always say good things about them. We are on good terms even though we are no longer in a relationship. And its the kind of present i can send that's not going to P... off his new partner as it never hangs around that long.”

“I ordered the 30 beer package as an anniversary present for my Husband who is temporarily in the London area. I had lovely e-mails with Beer Hawk coordinating the delivery date, address, etc. I was feeling good about the delivery, but it never showed up. Subsequently, both my Husband and myself had to chase up the beer and delivery several times via phone calls and e-mails. One phone call was an international phone call from Texas to the UK. While the selection of beer is good and my Husband is now enjoying his present, he missed a substantial amount of time in what is a short stay, to be able to enjoy the beer. He may have to leave some behind - although I bet he can find some friends to help him drink it. So, the beer was good, but the customer service and delivery was very lacking!”

“Having had several successful deliveries from Beerhawk I was disappointed with the service with their latest delivery. The original order was damaged and not delivered by the carrier. Notification of this was not received - it was only when checking the carriers tracking on the afternoon of the proposed delivery date that I found that there was a problem. I then spoke to the carrier and then Beerhawk requesting a replacement order. I was promised it would be dispatched the following day. On checking my online account I found no evidence of the replacement order. I phoned Beerhawk again and was again promised it would be dispatched that evening. The following day my online account was now showing the replacement order but "still in warehouse". I phoned Beerhawk again and was advised there was a delay and it would be dispatched that evening. The order was finally received the following day - a full week after placing the order having paid for express delivery. I have requested a refund of the express delivery charge.”
