“Beers are great but really disappointing customer service as I had asked for the beers to be delivered on a certain date as they were going to a rented holiday home. Customer services then sent the beers immediately, I contacted them to ask them to get the carrier to hold them and they agreed to do this but it never happened and the beers were delivered several days before I arrived. I have had no contact from customer services since. Terrible service.”

“After ordering the beers on a Wednesday evening, I phoned Beer Hawk first thing on Thursday to say that I would be out all day on Friday so not to deliver the beers that day. It was agreed that delivery would be on the following Monday. However, when I returned home on Friday the beers had been delivered and had been left on the doorstep. That day we had a torrential downpour of rain and the boxes of beer were soaking wet. The labels on the beer were peeling off and all the leaflets had to be dried page by page. The beers were purchased as a present for my husband and I am disappointed that the beers are no longer packaged in boxes and I have had to spend alot of effort trying to make them look presentable.”

“Beers were decent, if somewhat over priced. All are 350ml bottles - or there abouts. There is no mention as far as I can see of bottle size on the site and for £40 I was expecting at least a few larger bottles. Otherwise it essentially equates to £4 a pint - some of which are actually available in my local Sainsbury's for considerably less (Goose Island, Sierra Nevada). My order was also missing all the dark beers. No Porters or Stouts.”

“I ordered an item for a friends birthday and paid for the delivery within 3 days and did not receive it in 3 days. Unfortunately I didn't have it in time for his birthday! Not best impressed.”

“The whole process was very quick and easy. The only comment I would make is that your website asked what I wanted to happen if I wasn't in and I selected for it to be left with a neighbour. This message didn't get to the delivery company properly as they tried to deliver my packages, and didn't try to deliver them to a neighbour's house, so I had to go on their website and select this option for a 2nd time.”

“I have ordered numerous times and as ever, the selection of Beers was/is fantastic. I still think the bottles can be a bit on the pricey side, particularly for some of the 275/335 ml bottles but still cheaper than you would pay in the Pub. My slight concern this time was that I entered a gift voucher in for my order and not for the first time, it rejected it. I called yourselves and asked for a reason as to why, acknowledging that it might be out of date, although I wouldn't have thought so. I also outlined that I wanted to use some beer tokens to reduce the cost of my order. In relation to the gift voucher and beer tokens, I was told to expect a call or E-Mail about this, but it did not happen. As such, I am still unsure about the Gift Voucher validity or how to use my beer tokens at checkout stage. So, in all honesty, not as impressed as I have been on previous occasions. The beer is still good though!!!!”

“Brought a case of beer a week before my fathers birthday, got an email saying delivery would be on the Friday so waited in. No delivery, tracked the delivery, said it would be delivered Monday, 1 da before my fathers birthday, no delivery, phoned Beerhawk who said someone would call me back that day, no phone all until 24 hours later. Said that they had a problem with their mail company, luckily for a refund to enable me to go and buy something else for my dad. What a load of hassle!!”

“Very good beers - I went through their stouts with Ratebeer open on another tab and there are some very interesting sounding beers. Tried one already, very pleased. The higher-end ones are expensive, but if you want to try an American beer that people are raving about then that's the deal. The Free Delivery over £50 is a good deal, and their couriers are excellent.”

“Delivery took longer than expected due to one of the beers being out of stock, but communication from beer hawk to resolve this was great. I would use again, my only issue is that my delivery note to leave with a neighbour wasn't followed- the box was left on my doorstep, surprised it was still there when I got home!”

“They asked to write a review and gere I am. Nt intend to buy from them in the near future asand despite my consideration for it to be a family bysiness but from a very simple irder it has quite became a nightmare but delay on the postage and consequent delivery eben thought I have contacted them and stressed out the expected timeline and also one item has arrived damaged which prompted to contact them and ask for refund.”

“The selection of beers is fantastic and kwak being one of my favourites but going on the website and researching the beers properly has expanded my taste buds and knowledge of some beautiful beers especially some amazing Trappist beers! Will always use beer hawk above any other website”
