Disgusted! Ordered an Advent calendar as an anniversary gift for my husband 6 weeks ago and trusted them to deliver on the specified date as they said. No sign of it or any message to say it will be coming. They took my money fast enough. I have emailed, sent messages through facebook and tried to ring all to no avail. I will be contacting Paypal for a refunbd but if you have any sense, stay well away, they are cowboys, you only need to read the reviews to see that.

Hi Jane, Sorry you are so frustrated with the service. The advent calendars were made available for presale in September as they were so popular last year. The order page does state that delivery will be made in November as does your order confirmation, so sorry if this hasn't been clear enough. Advents will be sent from 1st November and i'll make sure yours is at the front of the queue Thanks, Louise

Always a good service and variety of beers. Prices are competitive and have not had any issues with any of my purchases.

Ordered a case and paid for express delivery. They took my money straight away but still no sign of the case and its 10 days later. Customer service is useless. IF (!) you can get hold of them (pretty difficult), they tell you they will send it out the next day so should be with you in 2/3 days and then nothing turns up. They then say the same thing again and again.......save your money, use a different company!

Ordered the perfect draft machine and keg for my husbands birthday present - machine arrived within a week (not within the 3 working days specified) keg still no where to be seen (now been waiting for 3 weeks). Called customer services repeatedly only to be diverted to the the order line as customer services are too busy to answer the calls. Absolutely awful company cant even get a refund as this has to be actioned by the illusive customer "service" department. Avoid!!!

Sorry that you've had a bad experience. We have been really struggling to keep up with demand on some of the keg lines as they've been so popular in particular the Hoegarden kegs. I'm not sure why, but it also sounds like you've had a hard time getting hold of us too. Someone will give you a call today to give you a full update on delivery and we'll also sort out some sort of discount. Apologies again

Paid £4.99 for 3 working day delivery on a Monday. Heard absolutely nothing by Thursday so rang customer services who told me I wouldn't get it in time for my dad's birthday as they were moving office but will get it soon and they will do their best to get it to me Saturday so had to change delivery address. If your having delivery issues because you are moving office maybe it would be wise to tell the customer this once they have made an order. I then Heard nothing all weekend so rang again Monday night, customer services said that they couldn't see the notes on the system added to my account so they would find out and ring me next morning. No phone call Tuesday but that evening get email saying will be dispatched in the next 24hours, next day (24 hours later) get another email saying it will be dispatched in the next 24 hours... I finally get a email the next day saying it's been dispatched but they have dispatched to the wrong address!! I call customer services who ring the courier and manage to get it changed so finally it got delivered Thursday a week later then the 3 day delivery I paid £4.99 for. As a sorry for changing office and messing up my order I got £2.50 worth of beer tokens which is apparently a refund for the £4.99 delivery (great), all I need to do is spend another £4.99 for 3 day delivery and I'll get some more beers within 3 days.... The whole experience was painful but we got there in the end probably. I won't order from them again unless I'm desperate or if order about 2 weeks in advance before I need beers. Ordered beers from another company before who were really good so will use them again next time!

Hi Emma, It sounds like you've had a really bad experience and i'm really sorry for that. The candid truth is that your order was one of a handful that did get caught up in a system issue caused by a warehouse relocation and we didn't deliver your beer fast enough. We did make a refund equal to the delivery charge, so i'm not sure why that's come through as beer tokens, however i'll ensure that is corrected today and the refund made. Apologies again Louise

Thought I was taking a chance what with the terrible recent reviews, but I can't fault them. Ordered 20 Trappist ales and a glass and they arrived the next day.

The beers were great. The beer club deliveries were great. But on two occasions I had to change my saved card details and each time it was a major headache with numerous phone calls and emails. After the second time I gave up and reluctantly cancelled

Placed an order a week ago. Chased via email several times without reply. Fobbed off by call centre each time I phoned. Still waiting for a call back from customer services to refund my money.

The delivery didn't arrive within the three days stipulated. Replies to my emails were sporadic (on many occasions certainly not within the 24 hours turnaround stated on the Beer Hawk website). When I finally gave up and asked for the order to be cancelled, they decided they would deliver it after all without replying to me. It turned up a week late and I had to ask a few times for the delivery charge to be refunded. Poor service.

Ordered 2 crates only 1 arrived. Chased numerous times everytime im told head office will call you back. Numerous excuses as to why the order has not arrived. Eventually i am told a fresh order has been placed with express delivery. No delivery after a week. Again i have chased and requested a refund. Am told head office can only authorise that, so am still waiting for confirmation. Would never order again, clearly the processes in the company are poor, how can noone provide confirmation of delivery or useful information without the say so of head office.

ordered a perfect draft machine, along with 4 other kegs as well as the one that was bundled with the machine, after 3 weeks and 3 phone calls i am still waiting for two of the kegs, i have been promised a call back on each occasion and have never got one, quite the worst customer service ever

Delivery service is appalling , customer service is even worse!!! I ordered 'pre order ' advent calender for my husband. Was wondering when I was going to get an email update after the order was placedd in September , called unhelpful guy on the line was not willing to help. He kept saying contact'head office' why are you there if you won't help customers??? I'd avoid this company if I were you! Full of disappointment.

Ordered a Perfect Draft machine and a keg 3 weeks ago, the machine arrived promptly. However I am still waiting for the Keg, I was assured multiple times it was 'a few days away' only for it to not arrive. When I would ask again I was simply told once more that it was 'a few days away'. I was told to change the Keg because the one I ordered was out of stock, I requested a different one, which also happened to be out of stock, I was not told this until I had to inquire again as to where my order was, none of the customer service staff seemed to have any idea what was going one each time I phoned. Beerhawk seem to have no intention of compensating me for this mess, or even apologising properly. I will not be using them again, they have ruined what should have been an easy and fun treat for myself and family.

I payed for express delivery. It was for a birthday gift. I was told 3 times it was going to be delivered on 3 different occasions and it never turned up. So I asked for a refund. Then I asked again and again. I emailed, called, tweeted and even put a messageon Facebook. Eventually I got my money back! Will never use Beer Hawk again.

Beer is good. Delivery is hit and miss. Especially in London. Customer service is polite, friendly and helpful, but awfully slow at answering / resolving queries. I've been using BeerHawk for a few years and I've experienced several minor issues - missing items /late delivery /vouchers that do not work. Average mark reflects no improvement on their ability to deliver what was ordered or deliver when they said say and average customer service. Which all needlessly distract from the great range of beers. Better and quicker responses / communication please. And a real time chat support option with longer contact opening hours would be welcome.
