“In general my experience with beer merchants has been very good. I value their large selection of available beer and I really enjoy their tap room. I would prefer that they improve their ordering form to allow for better consolidation into a box. I made an order recently of mixed cans and bottles and it came to me in three different parcelforce deliveries. I would have prefered that it came in one delivery that I could plan for. One of the beers was backordered or forgotten and it came in it's own box large box only one day later. I would of preferred waiting the one day or even receiving a credit for the beer over a new box.”

“Great range of beer, the delivery charge I thought was reasonable. My ale arrived within 48hrs of ordering it which was prompt. A tad disappointed that the courier dropped it with a neighbour that I would not trust with a bag of sand let alone seriously good beer but hey ho that's a courier thing. I would use them again.”

“The website could do with some improvements. There should be a process for collection as when I did so I had no idea where to go and the 2nd time I was in the staff member who happened to be around didn't know what to do.”

“Used Beer Merchants a handful of times now. Never for myself, always as gifts for friends and family. They have a wide selection of fruit beers to choose from and placing an order is always easy. Delivery has always been within one or two days of my order being placed which is also a bonus. My only complaint is that I usually end up buying the same selection of beers every time. It always seems to be that any new fruit beers on their website are out of stock but having said that the vast majority of beers I end up buying are excellent.”

“I've used BM for several years - good for Belgian beers, though I find the website a bit confusing, too much stuff - my last order was also a bit confusing as it was sent in 2 boxes, which I didn't know - and when only 1/2 my order arrived I was a bit concerned, especially as it was marked box 1 of 2. If you could inform the customer that 2 boxes are being sent, not necessarily to arrive together, it would be a great help -”

“One item wasn't in stock - although the website allowed me to order. This should not have happened. However, some websites would have 'replaced' the item with 'something like the original item'. I was pleased that this didn't happen here.”

“The box was ok, but disappointing because of the many duplicates of beers I’m not keen on, while I appreciate that you aren’t to know what I like and it was cheap I do think more effort could have been made regarding variety.”
