STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE £5000 on a tv BED AND MATTRESS AND DELIVERY WAS LATE AND TV TOOK AN EXTRA 3 WEEKS, THE CENTRE RALE THEN COLLAPSED 1 WEEK LATER AND AFTER NUMEROUS CALLS EMAIL AND PHOTOS TAKING HOURS OF TIME 3 MONTHS LATER STILL NO REPLACEMENT AND IVE HAD TO BUY A NEW BED AS IM VERTUALLY IN THE FLOOR WITH IT AND MY MATRESS IS COMPLETLT STUFFED AS THE MEMORY FOME HAS NOW LOST ITS MEMORY.AVOID AT ALL COSTS HAVE FILED A LAW SUIT.

HOPE THEY STAY" SOLVENT" TILL AT LEAST SOME ONE. FROM BENSON BEDS and can get this solved. CONTACTS ME FOR A UPDATE ON MY 5 WEEK OLD COMPLAINT/PROBLEM. THE ACTUAL PART OF DELIVERY AND largest GOODS WERE VERY GOOD. a wrong intrinsic peice was sent. Then my headache and stress began 3 hours of waiting to speak and calls to CC, 2 lots of photos sent to prove to them or their suppliers that the unit was of a lesser type than i prepaid for. 2 HOURS SENDING LONG EMAILS AS I WAS SICK OF HEARING (YOUR CALL IS VALUABLE) and a operater will be available in 63 minutes. so far no help at all. i am worried. if the problem had been dealt with by now or even better no problem/mistake at all i would have given 5 stars. perhaps the top brass of BB should get onto this website and see the unsatisfied paid up clients . 2hours emails and 5 weeks later

The plastic parts have become brittle and disintegrated, leaving the bed in a dangerous and unusable state. Customer service have been appalling. Despite communications over many weeks they refuse to make any comment or action unless I provide my customer number (??) although I have full details of the credit card payment.

Mattress is good, delivered on time. The delivery men weren't very helpful and left me with a heavy mattress to move on my own (43 year old women) mattress big and super heavy. Customer service at the Cambridge branch not very good, very sour faced when we went in with a minor problem. I was all smiles and she rolled her eyes at her colleague for actually being nice to us. Very unprofessional. Had a new delivery for a mattress protector and the plastic case was ripped and sheet was dirty inside..... it cost £73.00 so not accepting this..... looks like I might have fun sorting this out.

Bedstead is damage, it's within 12 month guarantee period, however, Benson is blaming me, saying after reviewing the photo to them it is not a manufacturing defect. All I could do was to burst into tears.

Ordered some extra shelves for my wardrobe that i had bought from bensons. When they came to assemble furniture they said i didnt need them i thought no problem they havnt been opened i will return them . Everyone apparantly their policy is no returns once you have received goods its not written in there terms and conditions apparantly they have a notice in store so why are they not telling customers when they are ordering.Please do not buy from here

At the point of ordering we were promised flexibility on delivery dates and told we could easily rearrange if not convenient, but foolishly agreed to a specific delivery date not knowing for sure we would be available to take delivery. The proposed delivery date wasn't convenient and when we tried to reschedule a few days before it was due to be delivered, we were offered a revised date over 3 weeks later or cancellation at an undisclosed additional cost. The store seemed incapable of co-ordinating anything with their warehouse, and Customer Services were no better. I would recommend you think very carefully about placing an order with Bensons unless you are happy to fit in around Bensons customer service style. In the end they agreed to do a weekend delivery for an additional charge, even though I had requested this twice previously and been told it was not possible. The goods arrived and were perfectly OK, but the process was not an enjoyable one.

Whilst the choice of beds was pretty basic, we did find one adequate for a guest room. Customer service however was simply appalling. The bed was delivered to the house correctly on the day allocated, but they just left it in the room sealed in polythene and cardboard. A complete nightmare to get out on ones own -nearly had a hernia lifting it all on my own. Bedhead was supposed to be delivered a week later, but was delivered to the store 15 miles away for us to collect, Can't recommend Bensons and would buy elsewhere next time and recommend everyone else to do the same - A VERY UNHELPFUL COMPANY.

I was charged £45.00 for a mattress delivery for which I paid the driver (Courier) on delivery after I bought in store even though Benson for beds website advertises FREE DELIVERY on everything, total misrepresentation.

I have to say that the mattress I tried in store and having had a go on the sleep analysis thingy, bares no resemblance to the animal that I have purchased. The frame is okay and everything was delivered on time (glad I didn't cough up for a £500 headboard!) but what is supposed to be a soft, 2200 pocket sprung pillow topped mattress feels like it has no spring in it at all. Only had it 2 months and it seems to be getting worse, not better. I don't think I have the stamina to complain but I did read some reviews on other sites and it does seem to be the case that the 'comfort' numbers or levels are pretty hit and miss. For £1500 I expect to get a comfy bed and on balance the 10 year old M&S (soft) mattress that I had to get rid of was far more comfortable. I am not very pleased. The staff in store were helpful but I guess they have to try and sell this stuff. It's like asking for a pair of shoes in a size 5 and being sent a size 4 and hope that will do.

Received our Monaco Ortho comfort mattress yesterday. I woke up this morning and my hips were hurting. The mattress is too firm. Spoke to Donna in their customer services who was rude and argumentive when I compared the mattress I liked in store and the one I received. Donna explained that the mattress we bought only comes in a comfort rating 3. I was not told this by the salesman, infact he asked me whether I wanted a firmer mattress which I declined as I liked the one I tried. I was advised to give the bed 3-4 weeks to settle down and Bensons will charge 10% of original bed value plus re-delivery charge if we opt to exchange - you only find this out once you have bought their product from the booklet they give you with the receipt. I was told that the mattress I tried in the store couldve been well used and under lighting! No good then if you are supposed to be trying out beds for comfort. Bensons claim our comfort is the most important thing to them. Clearly not!

Advised that a dirty mattress had been sent to the depot so delivery would be delayed for 8 days. Then their bed assembly crew cannot call for a further week. Not impressed so far. Wondering how this will pan out

Mattress stained from very cheap yellow foam , this being a very expensive bed and mattress!! Did not expect yellow cheap very thin foam!! And they said it regulates with your body temperature!! That's completely rubbish waiting for shop to get back to me! Not had a decent nights sleep owing to heat , also people have said the foam can cause headache s!! Which I have suffered from since new bed, not a happy customer!!!

Delivery in 7 weeks - Damaged items delivered - Replacements in 4-5 weeks Really bad & disappointing process so far. It took ages for the delivery to come. In our case, to make it even worse, the items delivered were broken and unusable, and re-delivery has just been confirmed in another 4-5 weeks time. If Bensons needs such a long long time for a delivery in the first place, they must ensure that either the delivery is safely arrived, or in the case of damage atleast replacements are a bit faster to arrive. Anyone wont be happy to wait months!!!!

They told me the first bed wouldn't fit up the stairs without even trying. I took them on there word as they should know. They charge me a big restocking charge and failed delivery. Then four weeks later brought the new bed to the house and said it won't fit shall we take it back. My wife rang me I said no came home and took it up the stairs with my 10 year old daughter. Disgusting service. Lazy lot? Makes me wonder weather the first one would have fitted? I would have saved money and had the bed I wanted.
