This company is a disgrace I spent £4500 on 3 beds in August All 3 had faults and or missing parts. They promised to manufacture a new replacement it has just arrived in the wrong colour and wrong model ( November) a complete disaster and still not resolved.

I bought Harlow bed and other furniture and the quality and service is exceptional. It’s one of the best experience to buy such amazing stuff , which I couldn’t find anywhere else

Absolutely disgusting service from start to finish. Took over 2 months to receive a bed and mattress. Took an hour to get through to the customer services. The attitude of the staff are awful. Bought a wardrobe and within a week needed a replacement part and wasn’t fitted properly the second time. When we had a delivery of the bed the drivers just put someone’s sofa on it’s side with no regard to anyone.

Twice now I have been given a delivery date for my bed and both times Benson's have cancelled it for some reason or another. (One reason being, that they'd had a power outage in the warehouse and couldn't find my bed). I have now been given a third delivery date, but have very little faith that this will go ahead. Customer services is a complete shambles. Nobody is really interested, and that's after it takes an absolute age to get through to them after being in a queue for ages. I'll never ever buy another bed from these clowns.

Shocked..... given a delivery slot, took time off work, then had a call saying they can’t deliver in this slot, I called bensons for beds and when The call eventually went through, I spoke to Scott in customer services who just wanted to talk all over me and not listen to the issue! I requested a refund and he said I can’t I’ll just have to wait till it’s delivered, I have to go to work in the afternoon so I said I would like to make a complaint. Scott said you are dealing with customer services and I’m dealing with this!! Don’t buy from bensons, genuinely shocked by the lack of understanding, and rude customer services advisors don’t help!!

Watchdog needs a call. Same as all comments. Bunk bed came with broken pieces. Customer service, pmsl😂. Best joke all year, isn't one. I was even persuaded to take extra cover and it was supposed to cover anything from a scratch. Still waiting for new parts after 8 months and now have been told they don't sell the product anymore. Avoid at all costs, a joke of a firm.

On Monday 15 October I ordered a bed, paid a deposit and set up a financial plan. We were served in the Poole store by Harry A delivery date of Tuesday 6 November was agreed and put in writing in the contract. We were informed we would receive an email and or text to give us an accurate time slot on Monday 5 November. My husband arranged to take Tuesday 6 November off work. At 5pm on Monday 5 November I contacted Benson for Beds in Poole and spoke to Harry to say we had not heard about a delivery slot for the following day. Harry said he would find out and call us back. After waiting and hearing nothing my husband phoned Benson of Beds and spoke to Harry to be told the bed was not being delivered due to a mix up. He said the bed would be delivered on Saturday 10 November. We explained this was not suitable as we had my husband’s elderly parents staying with us and this had been planned months ago and we had made plans to take them out for the day. When we informed Harry of this he said he remembered us discussing this when arranging the delivery date. We were told by Harry the only way we could change the delivery date from Saturday 10 November to another date was to call customer services ourselves. Harry refused to do this. I duly called customer services, waited in a queue for 9 minutes, the phone was picked up but no one was at the other end. I could hear the staff talking about going home, it was 5.50pm. I shouted down the phone but no one spoke to me on the phone, they were too busy talking to each other about their plans for the evening which I could clearly hear. I phoned Benson for Beds in Poole and asked to speak to Harry to be told there was nothing he could do and we needed to change the delivery date ourselves.

Good customer service in the Shrewsbury store. Wardrobe and bedside tables delivered today unfortunately one bedside table damaged - visited store this afternoon and now waiting for the bedside table to be replaced.

Why give people a delivery slot if you can't keep to it 7 am till 1pm a morning off work but no bed has arrived . My husband ordered it but is a teacher so at work and when I've rang giving order number and details they can't tell me if it's anywhere near as yet as I didn't place the order . Bunch of complete twats to say the least I have a Dr's appointment at 3 that I need to attend and can't get a simple yes itl be with you in whatever total joke and a proper bunch of plebs

You take our money but as soon as there is a problem you refer us to customer services. This is the problem you have no customer services. They do not answer the phones, reply to your emails. You get an automated reply, what good is that. DISGUSTING not a word to use lightly but DISGUSTING. I purchased my bed from your shop they should deal with my complaint.

1 wardrobe rail missing from Package very disappointed My bed was perfect can’t understand how a wardrobe pack was incomplete surely the pack should be checked before delivery

I've written to Benson for beds complaints department about my lack of delivery and have had absolutely no response except for an automated reply saying they had received my complaint. It is now a week later and still nothing. My mattress was delivered five days after intended delivery and the mattress was dirty on one corner because of the ripped polythene which the mattress was in. Benson's do not care at all about their customers. I wish I had read these reviews before my purchase. Never again.

Bought a bed for 1800 pound onkofir the mattress to collapse and start going mouldy with it sweating because it’s unabk to breath due to bad design avoid buying of them as they don’t want know

Ordered king size bed & mattress on Sunday afternoon got home with the details and the realized it was 100 mm longer than our old double so wouldn't really fit the space. Tried to call the store for 2 days to change the order (always engaged) to a double & finally got through they said i have to pay a 10% change of order fee so for a smaller bed it will cost me a lot more when i questioned it they said read your terms and conditions. I know that it was my fault but they just wasn't flexible enough.

If I could give a zero I would. Ordered bedroom furniture in June 18 for my elderly disabled sister. Furniture arrived damaged. Raised matter with Store Manager at White City Manchester Mr. Phil Bailey. I mentioned how helpful the sales assistant Alex had been. Alex had raised this matter with his regional manager however this did not expedite matters. Mr Bailey informed me he had admonished Alex for helping a customer once goods had been sold quote 'our job is to sell the goods. If a problem occurs get in touch with Benson's Customer Service'. Several weeks and multiple e mails and phone calls later I again contacted Mr Bailey and informed him of the lack of interest / action by customer services. Reluctantly he sent an e mail stating that I should receive '5 Star Treatment' whatever that meant? Once again I contacted Customer Services [prepare yourself for a long wait]. Finally spoke with an agent and gave him my mobile number in case we were 'cut off'. We were in fact 'cut off' during our conversation and he did not ring me back. I once again made contact with Mr Bailey the manager of the store and suggested he take some responsibility in resolving this matter. We actually wanted an explanation as to how this debar cal had occurred? He asked if the goods had now been delivered and were fit for purpose. I explained they had, however wanted to know how this problem had occurred? He said it was nothing more to do with him and put the phone down. I found Alex to be of great help, and as mentioned above he at one stage raised this matter with his regional manager, however it remained unresolved. The company have now given my sister £75 as a gesture of goodwill. Goodwill starts with good customer service. The attitude of Mr Bailey [Store manager] was appalling and the response of Benson's Customer Services was not much better. You never know the quality of a company until something goes wrong. Benson's and in particular Mr Bailey are and remain a terrible advert for everything that is wrong or bad with customer service or lack of it in this country. NEVER BUY GOODS FROM THIS STORE

Wakefield store lady called jane got my order wrong didn't charge me enough cash and then I've to trail back to pay her mistake. She said even though you have paid cash if you cancel you can only have a cheque (wrong) . Her mistake . I asked her if I could have a pillow for inconvinios No sorry nothing Her falt.

If i could give zero stars i really would! We ordered a bedroom set in May this year and after 3 damaged deliveries of a headboard and missing side table this company finally send us on thr 4th attempt an acceptable headboard which was not even perfect nearly 6 months after and offer £25 compensation on a £1500 set!! Utter disgrace. Do not use this company. Poor customer service and would not allow us to speak to a supervisor!

It's a pity the star rating doesn't go below zero. My daughter bought a bed almost three weeks ago and it was delivered in part on Monday this week. Some idiot at the warehouse had "lost" the mattress. Not a small item! Regardless, they delivered the base unit and headboard at 06.40am having given a window of 07.00-13.00. OK so far apart from no mattress. One of the drawers in the base unit fell apart when I removed the protective packaging. So, we spent about three hours on Tuesday speaking with customer "services" to establish when the mattress would be delivered. They could not help. They promised to call back on Thursday with news. They didn't. I spend all morning trying to call them until noon when their outgoing voice message changed to say their system had crashed. No doubt under the weight of complaints. Again, all this morning wasted trying to get some news as we have guests arriving on Saturday. The waiting time on the phone varies from 20 mins to an astonishing 45 mins. I have asked to speak to both the depot manager and the transport manager but apparently this is forbidden. Where is the customer service they boast about? Where is the flaming mattress? Accrington is only 40 mins from our home. Is it beyond them to say that they would stick the mattress on a Transit van and deliver it? No service. No initiative. No more business for them. Bye the way, the bed is poorly made from the cheapest of materials. I could have knocked up a better drawer divan base unit in a couple of hours for around £40.

Sales team were superb - unfortunately supported by dire back end team who put back delivery by a week but also forgot to put major elements onto the order. Shambles of a service we are tired of chasing. If delivery not made happy to pop into my local store and take goods worth the amount we are owed...Genuine cockwombles of the highest order.

Got bed broken soon as it went together total rubbish the base is made of cheap cardboard, meant to be picking it back up on the 31st October so been in my house nearly a month, I never go back to them
