DO NOT PURCHASE FROM BENSON'S!! Purchased a divan bed from Benson's July 2018 at the cost of £599.00 (seemingly half pric)..but that's another matter!! Originally went to buy a mattress but was talked into buying full divan in order to get their FAMOUS 5 year guarantee as would only receive 1 year for mattress alone. Over the last few months the bed has been squeaking and the mattress sagging, on inspection the bed base has collapsed at the top my side of bed and the bottom at my husband's. I contacted Benson's who arranged for FIRA to inspect the bed...the FIRA technition agreed in my property in front of 2 other witnesses that the bed was of poor quality and had sunk where we sit getting in and out of bed!! and agreed this should not have happened. He also said we were lucky if the bed was worth a couple of hundred pounds and nowhere near the £1200 or even £600 we paid. However the report he submitted back to Benson's stated no fault and pressure had been applied to the bed, are we supposed to levitate to get in bed?? Benson's are not willing to repair or replace the bed base...so the mattress is no longer supported and the bed base I gave to a family member still going strong!! FIRA obviously work on behalf of Benson's and tell Benson's what they want to hear..the report had no resemlance to what was discussed with the technition in my property. Please also be aware that Benson's continually change the name of their beds so nobody can leave negative reviews. Forgot to mention when I first received my matress I had to return for another as it was full of moths and eggs who had eaten their way through the corner of the matress!! As the FIRA technition said "shop local and use small independent retailers,you get better service and quality" not that he would admit that to Bensons!!

Bought a mattress for £500 and after 14 months it felt like I was falling off the side of the bed it was dipping so much. After contacting Bensons I had an independent company come out and although it was dipping badly on one side whilst laying on the mattress, it goes back to within the tolerances. Really having trouble sleeping on it and now need to buy a new mattress. After contacting them I had an independent company come out and although it was dripping badly on one side whilst laying on it it’s gone back to within the tolerances. I’ll never shop there again, I can’t afford £500 every year for a new mattress! I feel robbed!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. PURE ROBERY! My elderly parents sent an email to homeserverepairs on the 06/01/20 @ 22:52 and received a reply from Alan Weaver on the 07/01/20 @ 14:56 stating he was investigating my concerns and will get back shortly. All good so far. On the 02/02/20 26 days later, they sent an email to Alan Warner - Customer Relations Manager saying how disappointed I was with how long and how unprofessional it was taking by both himself and the company in responding to my concerns. They still didn'e get a reply reply. Their original email was due to the fact they had just received a copy of the report that they had sent to Benson for Beds and wanted to register a formal complaint in relation to the report because of the discrepancies between what the technican Ian Palmer communicated to myself and what was written in the report. They were informed that the fault in the mattress was due to collasped springs and is now unsupportive, also measurements were outside tolerances, which is correct. However his report to Benson for Beds stated it was not a manufacturing fault, just misuse, which is a complete lie. Benson for Beds have written in their guarantee that the decision of the inspector will be final (How convienent). Therefore, the 5 Year guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on. The mattress is only 18 months old and cost £959 at full price, but because of the report, Benson for Beds have stated that the guarantee is now invalid. After going through the reviews on trustpilot for Homeserverepairs over the last six months they discovered that over 80% of the reviews in relation to mattress inspections have received only 1 star, due to the fact that the reports come out in favour of the manafacturer who pays them to carry out inspection, therefore it cannot be considered an unbiased report. Your company ignores complaints in the hope that they will eventually give up. Neither me, my friends or any of my family will ever purchase an item again, where informed that your company has any involvement in either the guarantees or repairs. Because of your report, my elderly parents have had to replace the mattress at a cost of £800 due to suffering sever backache and sore neck. I am currently investigating if I can take legal action either against Homeserverepairs or Benson for Beds (or both) to see if I can recover the money they have waisted in order to replace the mattress. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. PURE ROBERY!

Got the wrong size and did not use it. Could not return it because I did not use it. Policy requires to use it and protect it. If not protected despite not being used, return policy cancelled. No way to escalate. I just disposed of a £ 1400 mattress. Leila declined any escalation and the shop had not the power to override, despite evidence.

£1800 mattress lasted 18 months. Judged to be faulty. Bensons refused to do anything. We had been told it had a five year guarantee but now argue it was one year because we did not buy it with a base. Do not use Bensons.

I purchased a double bed divan a couple of years ago. I've had nothing but problems with it..The mattress has sunk in the middle. And it has squeaks all over the bed.. I dread going to bed at night. I've tried turning the mattress still no good. I rang customer service they're not interested in any complaint but they're quick enough to take your money. have tried to get a replacement they're not interested in suggesting anything.

We are still waiting for the delivery of our bed. It is 9pm and we were informed that it would be 7am. My husband had to take the whole day off and when he eventually got to speak to someone he was just told it was on the way. This is appalling we have taken down the old bed because we were told to in readiness for the delivery. We have to spend another night sharing beds. Also when speaking about this to others it is a common mistake. Has completely put us off purchasing anything from this company. Have no idea when we will finally have our bed delivered.

we have had our zip & link bed for four years now and the base one side has started to fall apart also most of the wheels have broken and badly scratch our floor have spoken to customer service who were very arrogant and told us As the products are over six months old, under the Consumer Rights Act the onus is on the customer to prove to Bensons for Beds that the product is faulty. i have read other reviews and there some very positive one's so if you are lucky enough to get one that last's then you wont have to go through this ,so is it worth the gamble. just to let you know we were informed our cover for the bed was 10 years so check this out before you give the any of your hard earnt money away i will never deal with this poor excuse of a company again

Bought a your bed your way piece, had to wait 4 weeks for purchase date only for it to arrive with the wrong headboard and no instructions whatsoever, this was an entirely flat packed bed. awful customer service when trying to fix the problem, 100% do not recommend.

£1200 on 2 beds, one a silentnight microcoil all singing n dancing. Springs have parted. So as there's a 5 year guarantee, I call them. They say to email photos, which I did. This was their reply. "As the products are over six months old, under the Consumer Rights Act the onus is on the customer to prove to Bensons for Beds that the product is faulty. Should you feel strongly that your product is faulty; you are welcome to arrange your own independent inspection. This inspection would have to be at your own expense and by a company which was pre-approved by us (so you would need to let us know the details of the company, and the cost, before arranging an appointment). Naturally we will not accept a report from a competing retailer, and we have had experience of less scrupulous inspectors, so please discuss with us first who you wish to appoint. If the technician finds in your favour we will review our decision and, if in agreement, reimburse you the cost of the inspection up to a maximum of £100 and discuss with you the next best course of action." I forsee a battle on the horizon! Avoid!!!

DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGEPOLE! is the best advice I can give anyone wishing to purchase a new mattress. Had I read the reviews before, not after purchasing said mattress from them, I would not be writing this review, as I would have gone elsewhere to spend my hard-earned money! To cut a long story short, it is dipping in the middle, already more than the "completely normal 20mm" they state in their "Care and Maintenance Instructions" leaflet, even though I have only had it a few months. Their technician said there is no manufacturing fault, so I have contacted The Furniture Ombudsman, and am in the process of trying to sort this out. I did not want this problem, all I wanted was a new mattress!!

Worst company ever. DO NOT USE. Mistake after mistake. They got the order wrong and took three deliveries to try and put right. Ended up with the wrong bed 3 months after initial delivery. The worst thing was that after that they just ignored my letters of complaint. Still trying to get some resolution after contacting trading standards. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

We purchased a bed on Friday 13 Decemeber 2019 and was told the wait for delivery would be 4 weeks. Perfect! However on the day of delivery the guy delivering informed that the order was wrong, double frame and a kingsize headboard (we also ordered a king size mattress separately). The driver took the whole order back. We contacted Bensons who accepted they rang the order through wrong and we would then have to wait another SIX weeks due to 'popular demand'. The bed is hardly made out of gold? The sales assistants were so unhelpful and very smug. We were told we would have no compensation. My partner has just received a call to say we would now have to wait another TWO weeks on top of that. Making it a 14 week wait for the bed. We have had no sympathy and barley any acknowledgement. We are currently sleeping on a mattress on the floor with no compensation. The service has been shocking leading me to leave a bad review. Working in sales myself I know that this service is terrible and this GREEDY national company are just looking after themselves and the sales advisers have already cashed in their nice bonus. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN NOR WOULD RECOMMEND.

Do not go near benson for beds. All staff should be made to wear a mask and there is honestly nothing to say on the customer service side of it terrible is an understatement. SHOP ELS WHERE 100% STAY CLEAR.

Don't think I can warrant a 1 star. I have had a continuing battle with my bed bought back last year. Payed £997.00,Base of the bed had a rip in .Delivered part of the Base to find not the same hight of the top of base. And the storage part did not keep closed unless the mattress was on. Was promised a whole new base, third delivery only had bottom of base. Sent that straight back never got into the house. Phoned again, was empty promising they will phone back within 48 hours. Still chasing them after three day's. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Avoid like the plague. Unfortunately like a lot of high street large chains - quick to sell you a product but not interested when you have a problem. Awful support system - the shop won't help you but instead direct you to their online support which is pointless. We purchased a bed for our son in 2018 with 3 year warranty. The mattress is not fit for purpose and he rolls into a dip when he gets into it - just cheap rubbish. Benson's not interested but instead wanted me to prove the item is not fit for purpose by using their approved furniture inspectors. Lessons learned here - they will go the way of Bathstore and other awful companies that have a lot to learn about looking after customers. Do yourself a favour - GO ELSEWHERE.

Absolutely ridiculous communication and when you try phoning you just get the phone put down on you. Time keeping is a massive issue! Told me my item would be delivered between 10 am and 1 pm and still waiting at 3.00pm. Tried calling to see what was going on and i get the phone put down on me! They dont even contact you to tell you there going to be late. So dont try plan your day around them!

Worst company we have ever experienced! Spent £2900 on 2 beds both were broken! We complained the day after they were delivered! 2 months later we had still heard nothing, our decorator happened to push the bed across the floor and because benson's still hadn't sent the replacement feet my brand new carpet was torn! Called benson's obviously fuming that we still hadn't had our replacement legs and they said they had no log of us calling them! Then they requested photos of the broken legs, a bed which weighs over 70kg may I point out, then there's their emails where they speak to you like garbage! 4 months on still no replacement legs, we can't have the carpet relayed because we don't have the legs and it will happen again! I have a good mind to take benson's to court for this!
