“Good content. Contents were duplicated in some parts. The timer on the lessons delayed flow. Some of the vocal stats did not match the written. 140,000 on vocal and 40,000 written. It would be nice to know what I got wrong on the tests.”

“Sorry but I found the on-line narrator dull and uninteresting. The delivery of the content did not keep me engaged. I purchased a boat smart study guide at Can Tire that had a copyright date of 2020. I reviewed the book and did the quiz at the end of each chapter. I also did the practice exam. I was surprised to find that I had to go through the entire course again on-line before I could write the final exam. I also found a number of questions asked where the answers available did not match what was taught. Still glad that I did the course and have the book for reference.”

“Good training, but someone needs to calibrate the minimum time per slide timer to better match the materials. In many instances, I was waiting for an extended period of time to move to the next slide after the materials had been covered. As such, the training took much longer than needed to complete….”

“A lot of repetition. Some parts could be broken down into plainer English. Some of the questions the answers could have gone either way. Would be nice to know which questions you got wrong so you can correct yourself. Overall I learned a lot!”

“The course is very good. Would give it 5 stars but there are a couple errors, on I noticed was on the buoys, the one on the left is a diving one but the third one to the right says diving but it is a swimming area buoy.”

“Good program. I liked the videos. I read very quickly however so it was kind of a pain to have to wait for the timer to run out before I could move to the next lesson though. So it took much longer to get through the course than was necessary. Would have preferred to be able to move to the next lesson when I was ready and not have to wait for a timer.”

“Animations were great and very engaging. Wish all lessons had animations. Also try to choose less distracting background music. And ensure it’s licensed. Nothing takes you out of it more than hearing “audio jungle” in the background.”

“Overall good. Clear lessons and good content. It would be very beneficial to see the correct answers to the quiz and test questions that were missed. I didn't see a way to do that and would have learned more based on what I missed. Also, a few silly typos/errors: In one of the sections on sailing vessel right of way, instead of "tacking", it was called "tracking". Also, a couple time "running aground emergency" was called "running around emergency". Overall good course. I learned a lot!”
