“In module seven lesson 4/40 on collisions it mentions to determine whether passengers in the vessel are endangered it doesn't mention anything about assessing injuries which collisions can cause and/or treatment of them such as cuts/bleeding. Step 3 confirm all passengers are accounted for. Step 4 ensure that everyone is wearing a life jacket. Step 5 determine if there are other craft that can render assistance. No mention of treating injuries. I was just wondering if that should be put in the module.”

“Excellent set of materials- provides a good understanding of requirements for safe boating. A few typos here and there should be corrected in the online version and I spotted two errors in the Study Guide.”

“Website have a problem and no any warning message. If you already know there is problem in your website connecting with final exam(Transport Canada), you should show a message to everyone. I wasted a lot time to try entering final exam.”

“I think the online alone is not sufficient. The book is a must in terms of combination and a handy reference tool. Should be important that you highly recommend the use of both. This was not evident to me when I started the on line modules. Also with today's technology live video illustration or links to would be useful for better look and feel in real world context.”

“It would be nice if you could get the results of your final test (at least the ones you got wrong) so that you could study on what you missed and become an even better informed and educated boater. I believe the purpose of the PCOC process is to produce not just people who can pass a test but well informed and safe boaters. Providing feedback on their test results will allow them to correct their mistakes and become even more informed and potentially safer boaters.”

“Actual course was great but when I went to write test would not connect to the test. Phoned the number and waited forever to speak to someone as to why the test wasn't coming up. Hung up. Not real happy about that. This morning connected fine and got my cert.”
