“Only thing I didn't like, is I am a fast reader.. should give the option to skip to the next question if you finish before the time is up. I understand we need to make sure we don't skip everything.”

Thanks for taking time to leave feedback Jessica. We understand the test can take a while for some students, but the time requirements and quizzes are required by Transport Canada and NASBLA to ensure students of all reading levels are able to fully understand all content.

“Modules break down the info we’ll and visuals are clear . I don’t like the robot men and feel that the exaggeration of their actions make light of potentially dangerous situations. I would like the min time allowed on each page to be much shorter as I could easily digest the info in much less time. That was the only aspect that I did not like . You need to allow for faster or more boat familiar learners as well as allowing unlimited time for people needing to take their time”

“Minimum time required before advancing to next part was sometimes up to about a minute longer than the video or audio clip, which was very frustrating and meant the course took me over 4 hours instead of the suggested 3 hours. Some quizzes contained questions covered in a later part, e.g. question in relation to a boat with a blue and white flag.”

“The course content was well organized and easy to follow. Too many of the boat operators in the images were men. It would be nice if women were seen operating the vessel in equal numbers.”

“course content is great. Some of the user experiences could use some work though. 1. I bought a prepaid card I bought from the boat show and followed the instructions. Entered all of my information, then the card code and suddenly had to re-enter all my information. That is unnecessary and could be solved either by retaining what I entered or having links to start from a different place if you have a prepaid code. 2. on the dashboard the completion percentage wheel showed zero right to the end. a small thing but it's still a bug (yes...web development team member here) 3. stop using facebook for authentication. just a personal preference :) thanks though, otherwise the course was well structured and must have worked as I got 100% on the test. cheers,”

“The course took way too long and should allow people to skip to take the test when they feel ready not when the course decides. It takes hours to get through all the lessons. Too long!!”
