“Great course! Super easy to enroll and incredibly efficient submission of course completion to the State of CA! I had initially registered for the course with another company and could never get the online course to work! Two emails requesting support with no response other than automated reply. Two phone calls with no one answering. After about a week, I finally gave up and cancelled course! When I found BOATsmart it took me about five minutes to get started! No technical problems whatsoever! Only negative was at times I could not advance the slide because of time allotted (would have to wait). Overall, super happy!”

“Good material but the amount of time required to finish each page should be shortened. Numerous times I was left waiting 45-90 seconds before I could advance to the next page. Took far longer than it should have to complete.”

Hey Kyle - thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. We understand the test can take a while for some students, but the time requirements and quizzes are required by Transport Canada and NASBLA to ensure students of all reading levels are able to fully understand all content. The timed requirements are the same across all course providers, and we find many students prefer the convenience of completing the course from the comfort of home, rather than in a classroom setting. Thanks for sticking with it and safe boating!

“The course content was very good. A bit basic at times for a long time boater like myself but you have no idea the experience level of the person taking the course. There were several technical issues with the course such as repeating sections and questions on the quizzes. Otherwise well done.”

“I loved that their were animated videos and insightful pictures to show what was being told. Also the fact that i had the option to listen to someone read out the info to me was great! i have one teeny complaint that doesn't really matter however, and that is: I would finish reading but would still have a 1:30 until i could move on. Otherwise this is such a great course! In case you were wondering, i'm 15 and my family was going to rent pwcs for us to ride on, and i wanted one to myself, and you guys allowed that! I couldn't be more thankful! Thank you Boatsmart staff, you mean the world to me !”
