“I liked it because I got my boating license but I think the test and modules were a bit too long and gave use unnecessary info on boating.”

“The course more than covered what was needed to know for the exam. You also made sure each module was understood, I had to repeat a module as my understanding was a little weak. I appreciated the thoroughness of the course and quizes.”

“My daughter is 14 years old and can't pass to get her card. You need to inform the student of the questions they got wrong so they can study that section. Also not being able to go back and change an answer needs to be changed. Making the student re-take the complete module when you fail a quiz is beyond frustrating. The student should be able to review but not made to watch all the videos again...since they have already watched them once which takes hours. I have spoke to many others that are very frustrated with how the on line course is done. It makes it impossible for younger folks to obtain a pleasure craft operator card.”

“Easy to follow but should tell you what answers were incorrect on quizzes so you aren't left wondering what information you may not have understood. If you got the feedback right away on the quizzes you would likely remember the information you got wrong but was later corrected. This feedback would have been really, really helpful on the quizzes only. I can't help wondering when I'm out on the water, what mistakes I might make because I didn't get that feedback.”

“The system was simple and easy to use. The lessons were very well presented and I was able to understand them and study at my own pace. I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking to get their Pleasure Craft Operating Card.”

“The course was very good. There are a couple of things that I thought may have enhanced my experience. 1. It would have been helpful to know what the correct answers were for the quiz questions I got wrong. 2. Videos of the lessons may promote learning. Thank you.”

“I think the Study Guide and the Boatsmart site should state that the online course modules and exam are the standard approach to completing the operator card process. I purchased a Study Guide, presuming I could prepare for and complete the exam via a mail in or off line process / procedure. After going through every module and test in the guide I found I wasted $17 and several hours repeating everything on line. If there was a notice of caution in the guide and/ or the online site about the study completion requirements I would have been way less frustrated with this undertaking and not feeling ripped off for time and money.”
