“It was great really found that I was getting great info to prepare me for the open waters. I am happy as a canadian citizen to be able to join the open waters with other boaters. Thank you boatsmart”

“So fun to do, and also appeals to all different types of learners. If you're a reader, you can read information. If you're an audio learner, you can listen to the information. OR if you're a visual learner, you can watch a video to learn information.”

“It provided the information needed to get the Exam completed I didn't like the timer - I read faster then the person reading the text and the videos looped over and over again if you watched them I would have preferred to read the text and click on Next when I finished”

“The course was good. I saw it on Facebook and that's how I got the ball rolling. A week later I saw it again on Facebook but with a 35% discount. Can you reimburse the difference?”

“The course gave great info in video and written form, so it's great for different types of learners. The quizzes had appropriate questions to prepare us for the exam. I did not like the timer per section because some videos would have enough time to play twice before you were aloud to move forward. I don't mind that there was a timer but more appropriate lengths would have been better. I passed the test on the first try and BoatSmart helped me achieve that.”

“The course was very thorough. I understand that they have to cover all the bases, however if you boat on an individual inland lake, it is perplexing to understand all of the buoys and navigation, when your lake has no buoys at all. It would be nice if when you have finished a lesson in a course module, if it would let you go on to the next lesson, without having to wait for a timer to count down.”

“I like that there is an option to watch but also to read at my own pace - in the time allowed I could thoroughly read and review the video to make sure i understood. I did notice that there were several spelling errors which did detract from the meaning of the information. I think it would be very helpful to correct this.”

“I was happy that the YouTube video helps with actually seeing the situations and scenario are working together to give a better aspect of what may happen. The one thing I didn't like was waiting for the timer to count down before able to switch to the next lesson. I am a quick reader. But over all it was very awesome to finally have a boaters”

“easy to access and understand. The only thing I would change is to make some way to review the information easily before taking the test. There was a long gap before I got to finish the modules and it was hard to remember the earlier modules for the test.”

“First off, I noticed two spelling mistakes, I wish I could tell you where. Secondly, the timers do matter! I can read a paragraph in much less than 60 seconds!”

“good on-line course...........would be nice to get a second try at the module quiz ....................................................maybe, highlight the wrong questions for our own knowledge so we see where we can improve to get it right”

“Very informative, mostly common sense, the only thing that didn't make sense to me was on some of the module quizzes questions were asked that weren't explained until a later module.”
