“Great way to get the test done, but the times of each window within a module are ridiculously too long, took me between 6-8 hours to get through the entire test when i knew most of the answers already (i was just looking for a way to get multiple licenses cheaper than $50 a piece) BOATsmart is the way to go for your licensing needs, especially if you want multiple licenses for you and your friends, but i was annoyed with how long it took.”

“I found it VERY difficult to read on my iPad and iPhone. The font is too small and too pale of a colour. Also the timing is soooooo slow.”

“Great course - I was totally over prepared for the test, but the knowledge will be very useful. I didn't like the slide timers - in most cases it was fine, but it would be nice to have the option to advance any time. I only noticed one error on the slide that shows all the info signs - the top sign says 10 kWh instead of 10 km/h.”

“Recommend that the time allotted to each segment be no longer than it takes to read the information. for persons with boating knowledge, it is very frustrating having to wait for each segment to time out before being allowed to advance to the next segment. I would not recommend your site to others based on this issue alone. Otherwise I found each lesson well presented.”

“I liked that there were interactive video versus just having to read. However there are some details that are really detailed that are attempting to replace common sense and takes up valuable time. Marine licenses should be a separate license than small lake boating license as much material only applies to ocean or Great Lakes.”

“Mostly I'm happy to have the licence. The online course is very thorough - but also repeats EVERYTHING in the book, which is frustrating to those of us who study the book & then go online expecting to take the exam and being forced to take the entire course... However, I am now pretty confident about my knowledge.”

“My Comments: - Nearly half the time the video would not load, not sure if it was my connection, but not likely as I am in a large city with high speed internet. - Would have been helpful to know which questions I got wrong! - I got my paper manual at about module 4. It was great to have that to follow along! I would suggest that you make a better sales pitch of the book stating that it has the course content word for word so you can follow along and don't have to take your own notes. - Overall great course”

“The course part was well made and made me passing the test a breeze. However, that timer to skip to the next step/module is way too slow. I was done reading the entire page and sometimes had to wait 20 to 40 seconds to keep going. I could have passed this in half the time.”
