“The course was well presented and easy to sit through. The only improvement I would suggest is that it be possible to go back into the lessons after the course is completed and before taking the exam. Without being able to do this I couldn’t check my recall and understanding of a particular area before taking the exam.”

“The course was well priced, easy to navigate and the quizzes set you up for success on the “real exam“. Best of all, I was able to get certified and print a temporary boaters card only a few hours after starting the course!”

“Everything was great - except for the music in the videos. It was highly distracting and often drowned out the voice of the instructor, making it hard to follow along with what otherwise were extremely informative and useful videos.”

“The course was easy to follow and the visuals did a good job of enhancing the presentation. The lessons were just the right length. I did not find that the module summaries did a thorough job of preparing you for the tests.”

“I would like to know which answers I got wrong on each quiz and to be given the correct answer. In this way I could learn from my mistakes and improve my knowledge. To not know, means I will always get it wrong, unknowingly. To be educational, there needs to be a feedback loop. It would be useful to know the minimum time required to go through each module, in order to gauge the amount of time a person needs to allocate for the course. I found the required minimum time on each lesson frustrating. But, I'm assuming that's a regulation for an online course. So, knowing how much time is required for each module, would be helpful to plan one's time and also set one's expectations.”

“Great simple to follow course, a few interesting knowledge areas not obvious even to long-time water craft operators... some of the timers in some modules go way too long... a little frustrating if you've finished the module and want to move forward overall, very good!”

“It would have been nice to have a little more info up front like there will be 6 sessions each with a test followed by a final test. Also it's more like 4 hrs rather than the 3 you "advertise" ! Other than that I thought it was good overall.”

“I liked the animation it made the course fun. The timers on each lesson made the course a lot longer than needed , if you felt comfortable you should be able to move on to the next lesson but timer make you wait before you can go on. I notice several spelling errors throughout the course. I did get a few answers wrong , so I wish they would show you the incorrect ones so you could go and inform yourself of the right answer. Other then that it is a good course.”
