“Good information!! The course had important and clear information. I learnt something and the video itself were helping. Good job on that matter. However the navigation between pages were horrible. It is false to say that you can go at your own pace. I had to wait most pages for the timer to end. And the video keep starting again and again. What a lost of time and, honestly, it was the worst online course i had to take for that reason. Very frustrating. I am sure its an easy fix, but you should get on it right now!! I have no clue if making me wait is a government related issue but playing the video over and over isnt. If not showing the wrong answers and the minimum time needed for a lesson is a governement issue, you should offer a link for us to complaint about it. What a bunch of....”

“The course was very well organized. I liked the visual, aural and written information as they reinforced each other. It would have been helpful to know which answers I got wrong on the final test as I do not know what information I have learned incorrectly.”

“I think it was really good they teach you what you need to know and it's pretty easy to pass so and is cheap so it's a really good place to get your boat license”

“Having spent 5 hours watching and listening to the video's which were very informative I have now hit my 2nd issue trying to use this website. The website will not let me take my exam as I cannot verify my account as it is telling me my postcode is invalid. I have contacted Support but as yet my issue is not resolved. An earlier issue with browser history blocking my ability to register easily due to payment prevention means for UK users this site needs to be enhanced.”

“It was very easy to do. I just hated how the lessons were timed especially since I read quicker then the timer and usually had to wait out the timer until I could move onto the next lesson. It was annoying when some pages only had a small paragraph on it yet it was timed for over a minute closer to two minutes. All in all a great course and would recommend it to everyone I know.”

“The course and content were OK, however, not knowing which questions I got wrong so that I could check and see why I got them wrong was not helpful. The fact that you can't go to the next question until the timer has run out is also annoying and time consuming; I could read most summaries at least twice in the time limits.”

“It wasn't a terrible experience. I do remember someone saying they got their boat license in under an hour so that was my expectation going in. Nowhere on your site did it clearly indicate how long the training would take. Since every Lesson has a timer I'm sure you could provide an expected time to complete. Most of the lessons had a video accompaniment but very few of those videos loaded. Each "lesson" usually provided 1-2 sentences which I had to scroll down to read because the website has a very thick upper border with the BOATsmart logo and the bottom has another very thick border with the lesson number and timer. Not to mention the large video player (which played no videos) in the way as well. This could be organized better. Like I said, it wasn't a terrible experience but it could easily be improved by making a few adjustments.”

“I was happy that had videos and could listen rather than read every thing. I can see why every one I know keeps putting off doing the test as it takes so long and if you are a fast reader you can’t go ahead to next module as hv to sit n wait for timer But again was great being able to listen and watch as seems to stick better than just reading”
