“BOATsmart had a nice interface, but had a plethora of typos, duplicate lessons, and duplicate questions. I also didn't agree with the decision to make a user repeat a module, especially re-integrating time limits, if they fail a quiz. Overall, 4/10”

“I studied the Boatsmart program for 2 days and then wrote the Transport Canada Exam. Other that one question on the test, all content was in the study materials. The question that made me really have to think was on boat lighting. The light combination on the exam was not in the materials but i took a stab at it and got it right. I am in my 60’s and retired. If i can get 100 on the exam it shows that the material works in your program. Thanks for making me a better boater.”

“Signed up for two boating courses for my daughter and I. The process was quick and simple. We both passed all 6 modules and the final exam! I had entered my Calif Cert ID incorrectly and I sent an e-mail to the support e-mail address. The very next morning I had an e-mail from Eden that had corrected the problem and reset my account! Eden even corrected my error and I was able to take the final exam and passed! Now both my daughter and I have passed our boating courses!”

“The BOATsmart course is geared towards real boating experiences intermingled with the information Transport Canada require. I found the tutorials easy to watch and listen to and reflected the things that a boater will face on a daily basis. Had an issue with getting to Transport Canada exam (not Boatsmart issue) and resolved quickly and efficiently by a very pleasant CSR unlike other providers that have no customer service. Highly recommend.”

“More time spent of the rules of driving a boat (buoys, lights, horns, right of way, docking a boat, stopping, etc) and less on putting a boat in the water and attaching a trailer hitch, none of this was applicable to most casual boaters”

“I thought the course was great and the videos sure helped. The only thing that I felt could be improved where the wait times between modules. Im not a crazzy fast reader but felt sometimes that the wait was longer then needed before being able to switch to the next one. Other then that awesome course, I would reccomend to anyone.”

“Pretty standard stuff, some good videos but could use more, also some repeated slides. The worst part is the page view countdown that's often longer than it takes to read the material. Finished with a 90% though. Quiz questions are directly on the Final.”
