“got it done - This was painfully long. We should be able to advance through the course if the section is known... in other words we should be able to challenge each section quiz, or at least forward screens instead of waiting. Some screens actually went twice because of the timer. In any event, sitting for 5 hours was not anticipated and much of the course load is not about boating, rather about safety. I have a ton of courses already in safety and did not feel the need to sit through these sections. in any event, those are my comments! thanks”

Thanks for taking time to leave feedback David. We understand the test can take a while for some students, but the time requirements and quizzes are required by Transport Canada and NASBLA to ensure students of all reading levels are able to fully understand all content. The timed requirements are the same across all course providers, and we find many students prefer the convenience of completing the course from the comfort of home, rather than in a classroom setting. Thanks for sticking with it and safe boating!

“Boat Smart book is good. I was not aware that the on line completion of modules was mandatory. I studied the book throughly, completed all the modules and tests but then wasn’t allowed th write the test. Forced to spend close to 4 hours going through everything a second time. Wasted a lot of time as a result! Very frustrating!”

“Very user friendly "video clips" with captured info beneath useful in making notes. Very indepth/helpful i.e. checklist, recommendations for operator to go over emerg kit/staples, operation of boat etc., in case of emergency.”

“I signed for a small discount so that my wife, who occasionally drives our boat, gets this qualification, but when I got to then end of the course and inserted my "code" it gave me the typical 1 person price! I'd already paid before commencing the course... I thought I'd paid for 2 people at a minor discount. I'm left wondering If in fact I was charged for 2 and if so, then how will my wife log on to prove we're already paid and ready to roll?!?!?! Decent course, but takes a while... you might be done reading / studying a screen, but you've got to let the counter time out before being allowed to go to then next screen... painful!!”
