“The course material was easy to follow and it was very helpful to have the BoatSmart study guide to allow me to check on things as the course progressed. The quizzes were also helpful and certainly enough time was allotted to complete those (3hrs). In comparison, the final allotted 75 minutes.”

“You force the user to repeat whole modules when they score less than 80% repeatedly rather than just the errors they make. I have never been so frustrated! Really bad experience. I did not look at the videos the second or third time I scored a 70%, rather just sat and clicked "next video" when the timer finally allowed me too! Terrible user experience. Although I did not study your damn content, I did score a 94% in the exam. I should have had the opportunity to write the exam in the first place rather than force me to do what you forced me to do- Absolutely poorly designed and horrible experience!”

“I have always loved the water, watertubing etc but always wanted to try out a PWC but could only go as a passenger now I can go as an operator:) Thanks to boatsmart for having the course available as we all need need safety procedures while being in any body of water & watercraft. Boatsmart made the course so it was very easy to understand. Happy boating everyone & always be safe and no boating & drinking.”

“7 modules with on average 30 lessons each average a minute. Then you have to take a practice test and score 80 or more to move on...and take the module again...Just to get to the end and have a 50 question test....complete overkill and waste of time....one test thats all you need.”

“I thought it was informative, for me not knowing much about boats I learned a lot. However, I thought that the amount of time was to much. I also didn’t like having to go through the entire lesson again after a failed attempt. I felt like I could have just read faster than the minimum modular time required. The questions also could be looked at the wording on several were confusing and hard to distinguish what the correct response was. Lastly, after a test or quiz I think it should have reviewed the answers in order to actually learn why your response was correct or not.”

“The content covered is exellent, however I feel the wait times on each page are a little excessive. There are also more than several pages that could be bundled together instead of having so many lessons in each module. But beaide that at least I can get out on the lake.”
