“This was an excellent opportunity for people who are self employed you could start and finish modules as your time allowed you, the information and modules were very explanatory, it is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY for your family and friends to learn with you, and also get DISCOUNTS and many bonus offers. The exam was challenging and lengthy, but well worth it!!”

“I know it sure is an excellent course. Very educational. Boating safety is very IMPORTANT, for sure! My husband said he noticed the course had changed since he wrote it and that is Good, more challenging for one to pay attention and study for it! Pat Green”

“All in all it was pretty good but found it discouraging as all I need my boaters license for was to use my seadoo just out on the lake at the cottage. The information I had to learn about the bigger waterways was unnessary in my opinion.”

“The course is well prepared easy to follow and even permit stopping in mid course to continu at a later date. The only draw back is that it is long to do 6 hours for the tutorial and it took me 15 minutes ( of 75 min) for Transport Canada exam. The time for the final exam is perfect and also the time allotted for the 10 questions quiz at the end of each module (total 7 modules). To conclude if one fails a module, the BOATsmart course only makes you retake the fail module to be able to continu and not restart from the beginning. BRAVO!”

“Very easy straight forward course with amazing interface. I encountered a problem once I passed my test where it did not go through. I called and it was fixed within minutes. All of my family will be taking this course would highly recommend”

“I found the course interesting but also a lot of it did not apply for my situation. I am not near any large waterways and never plan on captaining on any of them. A suggestion would be to have a few different options (or possibly province specific) and if you would be boating in more than 1 province you would have to take the option for each one you want. It was very interesting but very in depth so I know I will not retain it all. I realize that a lot of the information is necessary and quite a bit is common sense. I also want to commend the help line staff. Our power went out part way through my final test and I contacted them and they were able to reset me to the spot where I was. I was very relieved that I didn't have to start all over. Over all this is a great course, very informative and easy to understand. Thank you!!”

“I like the way the test is set up . I like the fact that you can complete it at your own pace and that you can always review the previous modules . It is not to hard and not to easy .”
