“I got my license!”

“Quite honestly, the process was more challenging than I expected! Thank goodness for the BoatSmart modules and the tests at the end of each module which prepares one for the final test once you've completed all of the modules. I found the final exam easier than some of the tests in the modules! I certainly learned quite a bit about boating safety during the process and thanks to BoatSmart I am glad I obtained my Pleaure Craft Operator Card!”

“I would like to know where I went wrong on quiz's and the same for the TC test where I had 2 wrong but which ones? I thought that the material could have been covered more quickly with appropriate emphasis on the important points, otherwise, it gave me all the necessary information. I think it is strange that the Starboard/Port Hand Buoys are only discussed in upriver mode. I think that the opposite point, downriver should be covered at the beginning of the section.”

“My only criticism of the course is that since I was buying a personal watercraft and intend to only use it on the lake where I live, some of the some of the modules were kind of irrelevant to my intended use. It would be nice if people could take the course that was more oriented to what they were actually going to be using it for.”

“It was longer then antisapated to go through all the levels . Lots of great info . Well set up . Easy to use features .. everything went off with out a hitch .. I would highly recommend to others .. thanks”

“It was well laid out and easy to follow. The presentation was excellent but other than the safety aspect of the information, the course content does not make anyone a "better boater". I understand that the content is based on what is required by Transport Canada but fail to see why we are required to have a certificate at all. It may, in fact, give some boaters a false sense of security.”

“I liked the online approach and the flexibility it gives you. My husband did it all in one day whereas I completed it over one week. It definitely helped to have the book as well as the online open at the same time though so you could quickly refer back and review. Easier to do with the book so perhaps one way to improve the online is to make it easier to go back and review. Very good experience and I learned a lot in a fun and flexible way.”
