“As someone who does not have health insurance from their employer, Brightside was a perfect option for me. Affordable, no hassle prescription refills delivered to my door, and the flexibility to check in with my provider around my schedule without having to go to a doctors office.”
“From someone with treatment resistant depression who is playing antidepressant roulette until I find the medication that works for me - Brightside has been amazing! It's extremely easy to use, it's allowed me to have more communication than I had with my previous psychiatrist (where I would have to schedule appointments 3 + weeks in advance), & I think the mood tracking system is great and allows me to keep track of my mood myself. I feel very in control of my psychiatric health while still supported by a qualified, caring doctor.”
“I think it's great in concept with some room for improvement. Your service seems to predominately focus on depression/anxiety and not much room for anything else. My main issue is dealing with my ADHD, which most of the drugs aren't available through your service. Additionally all of the questionnaires are hyper focused on depression and anxiety and it skews the results as when I'm answering these questions, I'm answering in relation to my ADHD and the results think I'm extra depressed or anxious because I'm fidgety or irritable when those are simply symptoms of ADHD. I wish your service could expand its scope to be more inclusive of other mental disorders beyond depression and anxiety.”
“Great value for everything provided in the monthly subscription: access to a psychiatrist, medication with automatic refills, and self-care tools. Incredibly easy and simple to get started. Brightside was a life-saver for me.”
“The service is great and it has really helped me. It is easy to use and convenient. The only area of improvement is their website. There is no customer service information once logged in so if there's an issue with a shipment for example, you are in the dark unless you ask your Dr.”
“I feel so grateful that I found brightside. I felt like I was working really hard to not slip back into depression, and like my anxiety was pretty constant with...and I just felt like I needed back up, and brightside has really worked for me. Between the skill kit and the medication I feel stable improvement and awareness. Thank you brightside 👍👍”
“Brightside as a service has been working really well. There was a shipping snafu with my meds but support was helpful in getting a local fill to bridge the gap. My doctor is caring and encouraging. I don’t feel better yet - i actually feel worse - but I’m hopeful change is coming.”
“Everything has been good so far. I like my doctor and so far the meds are helping. Some of the CBT modules haven’t played all the way through. Support says they are fixing them so I need to check back. For a new service, issues likes these happen so it isn’t a huge deal. Overall I’m glad to be a patient w Brightside.”
“While quick access to medication is great, and my doctor is very helpful and accessible, the CBT lessons are sort of useless without accountability. I've also been paying for my medication through my insurance, and have never actually gotten meds shipped. I guess I thought the service would actually connect me with a therapist as well, but that's not the case. I'll be unsubscribing this month after I see a local physician.”
“My experience has been almost perfect and I’m really grateful for this access, I personally would find a face to face session 0ver FaceTime more helpful than the CBT lessons, but I do enjoy those. All in all BrightSide has been amazing!”
“Brightside has helped me pull myself out of a hole, start doing the things I love again, and to finally feel like myself. My doctor is very knowledgeable and easy to get in contact with. The CBTs have helped me think more positively and they’re straight to the point so it doesn’t take too much time to complete them.”
