“Brightside is a good option for those with a busy work schedule, but I have yet to feel significant improvements after months with them. The sessions are really short and seem to lack structure and I do not feel I am making forward progress.”
“Brightside has been a huge life changer for me! I am supported by my therapist and have been making progress on my goals. My provider has been supportive as well. Both of them actually listen to me and I feel confident if I did slip backward, I can reach out and be fully supported. It is easy to make an appointment with my therapist and provider. I am so grateful for Brightside and how easy it is to use, schedule appointments, and be matched up with qualified providers and therapists.”
“I have felt so cared for since I started this process. It's my first therapy experience, and I'm glad it's not just a doctor not listening to me,it's someone who cares for how I'm feeling. The lessons have been great, it helps ground me throughout the week.”
“After looking for mental health care for months due to severe depression and anxiety and being told I had to wait months for an appointment, Brightside literally saved my life. I started my treatment 2 days after creating my account and my symptoms have decreased considerably. Thank you, Brightside!”
“I love the service itself.
But the "check-in" questions are terrible. PLEASE be more creative and allow more gray area. I simply cannot respond to them accurately. For instance, there is "much of the time," but no "some of the time," or "A little bit of the time." These make a huge difference!
Somebody needs to take the time to make more realistic questions/statements. This is becoming increasingly frustrating to answer so I just reply with a standard answer. I am not putting any thought into it, and you and I both deserve better!”
“Extremely expensive. Also, the cost was totally non-transparent. I found out a month after my visit, that the visit cost $500. I would have liked to know this beforehand. You should post your costs publicly and clearly.”
“I really like how Dr. G helps me with practical things and personal things. And I did not know that my meds were monitored. How is it that I’m just learning that after 35 years taking them?”
