“Excellent virtual appointment with my doctor to discuss my symptoms and the path to feeling better, which included not just medication but also other aspects of mental health including exercise, nutrition, and mindfulness. Quick and easy access to prescribed medication though the Brightside pharmacy and delivered to my house.”
“I have benefitted from the service and my depression is improving, however I was surprised when I would check in and wouldn’t hear anything back, even when I was reporting side effects. I needed to message my doctor specifically asking a question in order to hear anything from him. I was expecting more proactive, or at least reactive, outreach, even if it were just “I got your check-in and looks good, anything you want to talk about?”. As it stands today, I feel like recording my status is purely for my own benefit and feels like it all goes into a black hole, which leaves me questioning the value of the service.”
“Brightside is helpful and accessible- not having insurance is upsetting but being able to gain the mental health help I need with out it has been very helpful.”
“I feel my Brightside doctor genuinely cares about my well-being and wants to help me to achieve my mental health goals. I couldn't be happier with her and with Brightside, for connecting me with her. Thank you, big thumbs up from this client/user.”
“I’m very pleased with this service. My doctor is attentive and I appreciate that. Much less expensive than your local psych visit as well. Very pleased.”
“This was easier than anything I have ever used. My own primary care provider brushed off my anxiety concerns and with COVID the virtual visit and delivery of medication has been a lifesaver. I have constant access to my provider and she is very quick at responding.”
“Brightside has given me the ability to manage my depression and anxiety on my own for an affordable price. Weekly checkins and being ably to message my doctor whenever has made getting help easier.”
“Brightside has given me access to support and treatment that had not previously been accessible to me. It is quick, easy, and I feel very comfortable with the way that the program works.”
“This service is quite expensive. It felt like I hardly had any real, human communication regarding my mental health, just automated check-ins with vague questions/answer options. These check-ins are very frustrating to fill out-for the first month or two of my treatment, my symptoms were only getting worse and my depression was the worst it has ever been, while the depression tracker showed that my depression was getting better. Like I literally told you that my symptoms are getting worse, why and how are you determining that I'm getting better and that my treatment is working? Thankfully, my doctor listened to my concerns after messaging her directly and I was able to switch medicines. It just seems like a very impersonal, automated system that doesn't work for everyone.”
“I was in a really bad place mentally. Quarantine and unemployment caused my untreated depression/anxiety to reach a point I had never felt before. At my lowest, I decided to check out Brightside. After using Brightside for only a month, I feel like a new person. I've never been so active and motivated to change. I never realized how amazing it feels to feel good! :)”
