“I love love the Dr. part of this. I have agoraphobia and I can’t get to the doctors physically and this is the first time I’ve been able to get on medication and talk to a doctor about how I’m feeling on it. I’m very very grateful for it. The only reason I’m rating it 4 stars and not 5 is because I tried the therapy part of Brightside and it didn’t work out for me because the therapist kept rescheduling on me. I am using another site for therapy now but I am beyond grateful for this app. Beyond.”
“This is a great program but the only reason i gave 4 stars is that it is still expensive, and only covered by a few insurance. The insurance that were listed are usually associated with higher paying jobs. Im a student now and have no job but i decided that it was the right time to try medication. I'm lucky enough to have saved money. But there are still a lot of people that need access to medication that dont have great insurance or even a job.”
“I think the rating system is kind of weird, my graph is constantly moving so high and then back to a somewhat grounded level after they have me do my check in, but that doesn’t really change how I’m actually feeling. I still feel the same amount of anxiety as before. So I don’t really listen to the graph or number- but rather how my actual body and mind are doing.”
“So far the process has been simple and streamlined. Finding the correct medication and dosage is always a process but the format here has made it less strenuous.”
“Brightside was a great launchpad toward long term care for my mental health. Even though I ultimately transferred my prescription to my primary doctor and found a less expensive alternative for therapy, I credit my path entirely to Brightside.”
