“Brianna Johnson, ARNP is a great provider. She takes time to figure out the best course of treatment and follows up to make sure the treatment is working. The patient dashboard is easy to use and medication arrives on time.”
“Bait-and-switch marketing. With Brightside, I felt a promising rapport during my intake appointment and felt encouraged with the treatment options we discussed. Only to have Brightside come back three days later and say I should go to an onsite doctor instead. Just like the other user said - they were all-too eager to have an intake appointment and charge me (after I had provided the exact same information through their screening questionnaire).
Brightside markets themselves as a niche provider that specializes in care for anxiety and depression. Yet, when I tried to receive specialized care for my anxiety, they vaguely suggested I go back to a general psych provider. But again, only after they had taken my money. Their marketing emphasis and their standard of care are disjointed. And honestly, it seems like that may be by design. I was thrilled to find a remote doctor, as I have social anxiety, so it was quite the bait-and-switch. Feel very let-down and deprioritized. Honestly feel much more hopeless as a direct result of their care team.”
“Brightside has really been a huge help to me. being able to get help and talk to someone about my symptoms and have them work with me to get me on a treatment plan thats best for me and being able to do it from home is amazing. it was a big step for me to reach out and seek help but im so glad i did and im glad i chose Brightside.”
“An amazing service! I was given a fantastic psychiatrist (Dr. Veronica Slootsky) after dealing with a poor psychiatrist in person through my doctor. She is always kind. It's great to see how your Depression and anxiety go down week by week and I love the ease of the check ins. My meds are delivered so I don't have to go pick them up which is very helpful. And they have worked very well for me! Much better than what I was put on previously by other doctors and psychiatrists.”
“Unsure. As of now I haven't the right medication to treat the mild anxiety and depression. The first medication caused a hives breakout Bupropion. The second medication makes me feel irritable. Therapy is going well and I enjoy the lessons on coping skills. Also, I think the monthly price $349 is high.”
“I was disappointed in your therapy offering as it seemed to follow a pre-set method. I wish you offered clients the ability to talk to a therapist that uses other methods. The medication service is great though!”
