Before we had even paid our first bill they hiked the price up and then have hiked it up again. Not impressed. Will be looking for another supplier.

Hi there, Thanks for leaving us a review. I'm sorry for the unfortunate timing of these price changes. We’ve had to increase our prices because the cost of supplying energy has increased significantly. Since we last announced a price rise in March 2021, wholesale costs are now 31% higher than they were in September. Because our tariff is already low, we have to pass these increases on to our members. Swapped over from BG price has gone up twice in 3 months so I’m on the fence tbh

Hi there, Thanks for leaving us a review. We’ve had to increase our prices because the cost of supplying energy has increased significantly. Wholesale costs are up by 29% since March, when we last changed our prices. A typical member will now see a slight increase in their billing, paying £1.33 more for their energy a week. I'm very happy with Bulb so far. Switching over to them was completely pain-free; their app is extremely informative and easy to use, and the £50 friend incentive is a great reason to join up. And, of course, their energy is cleaner so I can use them with a cleaner conscience.

No hassle switch over from my previous supplier. Bill is easy to understand. Only issue I have is that my smart meter which I had with OVO years ago was connected when I switched over, but it's now disconnected. Will have to contact Bulb to reconnect. But doing manual meter readings is very simple on their mobile app. Especially like the torch button for when I have to go under the stairs for the gas reading!

Communication from Bulb is very good. my monthly bill is forwarded to me very promptly. Letting me budget very easily. I'm glad of my credit but this has come over the period of two increases in my bill which I hope will reduce during the summer and hence balance out compared to my higher priced, but fixed rate with British Gas.

Hi Tim, Thanks for leaving us a review. We’re sorry to put prices up for the second time this year, at a time that we know is difficult for lots of our members. Wholesale prices have increased to their highest levels since 2018 due to post-lockdown demand. This means that an average member will now see an increase in their billing of £1.33 per week.
