It was so easy changing to bUlbster and I am on a meter .hassle free and a lot cheaper than last supplier .love bulb

Signed up with Bulb as they were offering a good price on electricity and didn't need to speak to anyone over the phone. Less than a month into the contract they messaged me to say they were putting my price up 36% as prices had been rising over the last 18 months. So basically, sucked me in with a price they knew was underpriced and overinflated the price after I was under contract. BEWARE EVERYONE.

Our pricing reflects the true cost of energy, so if wholesale costs increase, so does our tariff. Price increase literally weeks into signing up. Very disappointing. Quoted a competitive price to get us in, and then up the price went. Regulators need to get control of this type of strategic behaviour! ☹️

We do announce price changes with 30 days' notice until they come into play, in order to give members time to switch away should they want to - this is requirement by the energy regulator, Ofgem. Recently joined Bulb for both gas and electric, change over was quick easy and totally hassle free, they even paid for early termination fee from old supplier. It is great knowing I can leave whenever I want because there is no minimum contract term and paying monthly on a date that suits me is excellent because I don't have to worry about big bills coming in every quarter. Thank you Bulb for taking the hassle out of fuel supplying and as all the fuel is renewable energy I feel like I'm helping the planet a little by reducing my carbon footprint.

If you want to know where you stand with how much are on your meters ,don't use bulb they only update once a day it's absolutely useless

Hi Kath, I'm really sorry to hear this. Currently the Bulb app will update the balance everyday at midnight, however it is possible to view the live balance on the meters themselves. If you would like any more help please email feedback@bulb.co.uk - Nathan

I recently switched to Bulb. The switch was easy and the App is great to keep you up to date with your monthly usage and balance. Prices very competitive. Highly recommend.
