So the bed is fine but we had to assemble it ourselves as it was delivered outside of the M25. Having sent three emails I’ve never heard back on my request to get instructions on how to fix the fact that the frame doesn’t fit together. But nothing. Not great.

Hi Giles, I'm sorry that your email slipped the net on this occasion. We offer delivery and assembly service on all of our products within the U.K. mainland. We originally delivered the bed to your address within the M25, and it was requested that the bed left in the orignal packaging. The product was then later moved and assembled by yourself. I know that we arranged for your bed to be profssioinally assembled within a week of receiving your this review. Im very disappointed by the customer service I received - after spending so much money on an ottoman bed and mattress from Button & Sprung, I would've expected a more helpful and professional response. after not even a year of owning this bed I noticed terrible mould growing under the bed - it had spread to the bed slats and even to suitcases and stroller I had packed under the bed, There is clearly not enough ventilation under the bed so lots of moisture was getting trapped under the bed, which i only realised after we started to get a very strong mould smell in our bedroom. the problem wasn't humidity in our bedroom as we don't have mould problems anywhere else in the room. The reason why we decided to get a natural mattress is because my husband sweats a lot during the night and foam mattresses made this even worse- even though the natural mattress helped to reduce this problem it was causing lots of moisture to be trapped under the bed and due to there not being enough ventilation it caused this problem. After I had explained this to customer service I was sent back a very condescending email where they explained what mould was and why it happens -_- and as a goodwill gesture they offered to replace the boards for the ottoman bed (on the condition I would need to pick it up from the warehouse - not even offering delivery and expecting me to travel very far to pick up very heavy and large boards for my kind size bed!!!) I am now stuck with a very expensive bed which I can't use storage any more as im scared mold will start again, and also because of how bad the mould had gotten under the bed the smell of mould has not been able to be removed(as much as I have tried to clean the inside) so even though I have now removed everything from under the bed our room still smells of mold. I would highly advice against buying the ottoman bed and if so make sure to check often if mold starts to form - as sadly this was the case with us and I would have assumed problems like this wouldn't have occurred with such expensive beds that should have been built with better storage ventilation/mould resistant material and better customer service to help with problems like mine ie offering to have the bed professionally cleaned or offered a replacement (which they have not- even thing I've had this bed for less than a year)

On delivery day of our bed (Camelia Divan with drawers) our bed arrived WITHOUT a headboard, just the Divan base, the divan base once unwrapped was covered in dirty marks and had a large scratch in the fabric and stitching coming out, a very POOR condition, after calling Button and Sprung it was arranged for another divan to be made which took another 5-6 weeks, 2nd delivery attempt both the divan base and headboard arrived although this time there were still dirty marks on both!! This is not the kind of service I would expect from an expensive bed company! I was offered just £100 in compensation which included £50 delivery refund, they arranged for a company to come and clean the dirty marks. The customer services team never gave me a follow up call to see if I was happy with the cleaning, in my opinion the customer services at Button and Sprung is very poor indeed, P.S The website need to be more informative regarding bed options, drawer end caps etc as not everyone can make it to the showroom in London.

I visited the showroom to place my order for the Eliza bedstead in Nickel. I was very impressed by Asif who could not be more gracious. Unfortunately after three attempts to deliver an undamaged bed I have given up on this company. On the FIRST delivery day I was advised that the bed was going to Sunderland instead of London due to a mix up in post codes. They do not cross check postcodes to address details when arranging deliveries. On the SECOND delivery day I was advised that the bed had been damaged but Adam (owner) had told the drivers to deliver it to me anyway. A swift refund was arranged when I refused delivery. On the THIRD delivery day (after securing a £200 discount) I was notified that the bed would not arrive because it had not been loaded on the van. This is despite being told that afternoon that it would arrive between 3pm and 5pm. I appreciate that mistakes happen. However, this experience was challenging and expensive. I am not paid when I do not work and the firm had the interest free use of my money for several weeks before I realised that it could not honour its obligations.
