Ordered fabric swatches to choose, very handy, called and got lots of information, only downside is delivery drivers weren't supplied with trolley to move the heavy bed

We had an excellent experience in store and the delivery team were great. We have really enjoyed our new bed and mattress since they arrived - they're excellent quality and I can see both lasting for a very long time. Unfortunately one of the legs of the bed was slightly damaged when it arrived, so we needed to get this replaced. The customer service team were lovely and very helpful, but it took a long time (5 months) for this replacement to actually happen. This was the only disappointing part of our experience, but since the damage was very minor and didn't stop us using the bed in the meantime, our overall experience was very positive and we still wouldn't hestitate to use Button & Sprung again in the future.

Button & Sprung were very helpful in store helping us select the perfect bed. The installation was really quick. The team were in and out in just 30 minutes. The bed is great! Only issue was the bed delivery was delayed for a month, so we had to wait a while to get it. But it was worth the wait!

Love my new mattress- it was all I was hoping for! My only feedback: a month from purchase to delivery felt like a long waiting time. Other than that cannot fault the experience

We placed the order online during Christmas, so at the beginning the communication may have been backlogged a bit. But after reaching out for the update, the communication afterwards went very promptly. We visitted the store later whilst waiting for the bed to be put together, to test if we really like the mattress we ordered. The service in the store was very good, the staff was really helpful and let us try at our own pace. We upgraded our mattress in store there and then, the changes were made swiftly and did not impact our delivery by much. The guys who came to deliver and assemble the bed for us were very professional. Very smooth experience overall apart from few follow-up here and there.

We received a very comfortable mattress from Button & Sprung. The store experience was ok, perhaps it was later in the day and they didn't have the full crew, but we had all the information we needed. The delivery was also smooth, it was placed straight onto the bed frame for me, and they were respectful to remove their shoes without me asking. Highly recommend!

We ordered a new super king mattress from Button & Sprung and have had an excellent experience with them. We ultimately decided not to keep the mattress as it was a bit too soft for us so we have opted to return it as part of their 100 night trial. Their customer service including communication from initial delivery to collection has been exceptional.

Very impressed with the bed buying service from here. Easy to order and very polite messages about delivery. Great delivery drivers too, arrived when expected and even called ahead to tell me they were on time. Lovely mattress, feels very good quality, well made and doesn't have that offensive 'new mattress' smell. It smells and feels super fresh and inviting. It's only had two nights' use so far so cannot comment on comfort although it already feels as expected from the description. Only drawback is the great disappointment I felt when I discovered that despite the strong eco vibe on the website and extensive chat about recycling, to have a mattress taken away for recycling I had to book and pay £55 (on top of the £50 delivery fee) for it separately. Plus my pocket spring mattress wouldn't necessarily be recycled, I was told, although it really felt from the website as if everything was recycled - a huge selling point to me. I thought (and I did misunderstand the website) that the delivery drivers were taking it. The drivers said they rarely take the old mattresses away as they don't have space, that's not the feeling I got from the website. They were very helpful and telephoned their office to ask about it, and said recycling was not an option but the £55 takeaway fee was. Wondering if the company is as green minded as it boasts. Another time I will check collection, not assume. Meanwhile, I can take my old mattress to our local recycle centre for free, which is handy.

Mattress recycling is indeed a significant challenge—highlighted by the staggering fact that 6 million mattresses were sent to landfill in the UK last year alone. To tackle this problem, we’ve recently launched an initiative called Second Sleep. Through this program, we offer free collection of old pocket-sprung mattresses with natural fillings (regardless of their original manufacturer). Once collected, we break these mattresses down into their component parts—a process that requires innovation and dedication, as traditional mattress design rarely considers recyclability. Here’s how it works: The fabric elements are pasteurised and repurposed into pads for future mattresses. The metal components are melted down for reuse in other industries. While Second Sleep is not yet available nationwide, we are actively working to expand its reach. Unfortunately, mattresses made with foam or synthetic fibres and polyester covers remain a recycling challenge, and landfill often remains the only current option for these types. Excellent customer service and very happy with the bed. We found the staff helpful in advising about fabrics and whether the bed would fit up the stairs, and the mattress guide was spot on. I've only taken a star off because the bed was delivered a week later than it was meant to be, and because of what seemed like poor communication between B&S and the company that took away the old bed. We were given no time window that the recycling company would come, B&S were two hours early, and they ended up arriving at the same time. It worked out by chance but I'd have liked to have known in advance about timing. However both teams were efficient and friendly in removing the old bed and setting up the new one. Wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

We bought our bed from the clearance section and it was very good value. However when it was delivered the installers said they were missing a part and would need to come back. Different installers came back 2 weeks later to complete the bed.

Overall, a great experience with Button & Sprung. Very helpful in the showroom, courteous and accommodating in organising a delivery time and it’s a fabulous, well-made super king sized bed that really suits our purpose. It’s looks wonderful, is very well-made, comfortable to sleep on and has loads of capacity in the easily accessible ottoman storage. Only minor gripe is that the chaps who delivered it were a bit willing to give up getting the bed upstairs, but we got there in the end!

Visited their showroom twice and each time found the staff to be very helpful and patient as I tried out every mattress multiple times. I would have expected for this price to have received after care information (via email or with the mattress) regarding rotating the mattress etc. For this reason I have taken a star off as it really is important to ensure the longevity of the mattress.

Very happy with the bed, and the delivery men were excellent. We live close to the showroom so we visited multiple times to make our choices.
