“Very quick and friendly installation, the ottoman style has had a real positive impact on storage in the room, the bed is very comfy and looks great. Would highly recommend!”

“I'm very happy with my Super King Ottoman bed. It's well made and it offers lots of storage space. The bed has really taken a centre stage in the room. The service from B&S is another matter. Within a week of buying and paying the bed we were told that they wouldn't honour the agreed timeframe because of wood shortage. I appreciate the prompt update but I can't take it seriously. Such a big company to have no knowledge of their stock and availability is something that raises my concern. Wood stock doesn't go low overnight so I would expect B&S to would have known this in advance to the purchase. I also have to take issue with the approach to getting customers to review: sending one sock and asking for a review to get the pair is dubious marketing practice. Let alone that given I had to wait additionally 6-8 weeks for my bed, it would have been a good idea to send us a couple of pairs as a good will gesture for the extra wait.”

Hi Bea, Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review and we are glad that you are happy with the quality of the bed. I'm sorry that you experienced a delay to the delivery of your bed. During the month of August, we (along with many other businesses in the UK) did experience a shortage of wood, which affected the lead time on all of our bed orders. This is the first time that we've experienced an issue like this, and it caught us off guard. We did however try our best to communicate the delays straight away to customers. I am sorry that you do not like the sock idea. Normally only a small percentage of customers take the time to leave reviews, so we thought that providing socks would encourage people to write reviews, good or bad. “Previously purchased a Drysdale mattress from Button and Sprung and were very happy with it so we chose the Borderdale for the spare bedroom. Ordering was straight forward over the phone. Service after that was pretty good although updates could have been faster via email.”

“Had to follow up delivery information but received an almost immediate reply email from Martin with apologies and delivery date confirmation. Bed delivered by an extremely courteous team and we are delighted with it. Excellent value for money and love the marketing strategy of no gimmicky discounts.”

“The guys that delivered the bed were on time, courteous and super speedy. We didn't get a delivery time until late the afternoon before so my only minor gripe is that it would be helpful to have it 48 hours before”

Hi Caroline, Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. As standard, we issue a delivery date within 2-3 weeks from when the order is placed. We then issue a customer's a 2-hour time slot a day before the delivery date. This being because organising a delivery schedule is a bit like finishing a puzzle, all the pieces need to come together. Sometimes things come up that means the schedule needs to be adapted before the 2-hour time slot goes out. I've taken your feedback on-board and will be sure to pass it on to the delivery team. “Great customer service and the mattress is superb. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quality mattress. Knocked off one star due to delivery team who failed to wear masks in the house and weren’t careful with the stair balustrade. Otherwise all good.”

“It was a nice experience in the show room testing out the beds and learning more about the product. Unfortunately we chose the wrong mattress - a firm and are changing it for a medium. I’m sure that will be right and we can then get excited about our nights sleeps. Delivery was punctual and straight forward”
