Write a review to get the other side of a sock. Sorry, but what a perverse ploy. If you were good enough I’d write you an excellent review. This tainted my experience where the product and service was actually good. Please give the socks to charity for those who actually need them. Mine went in the bin.

Hello and thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, I am sorry that you felt that leaving one sock (and asking for a review) seemed pushy, that is not what we want at all. We have done this now for a number of years and it is a genuine attempt to encourage people to leave reviews (good or bad), as normally, very few people write reviews (in the region of 5 to 10%). Customers tell us that they find reviews really helpful in deciding, so we wanted to provide an incentive to encourage more people to write reviews. Excellent service and delivery men were careful with our newly painted house. We're in the middle of major house refurbishment so will not be able to try the beds out until end September/October.

Love the look of your beds, great reviews on Trust Pilot but your web site is really clunky! Really hard to select a colour. I’d really like to see the price of the bed without having to apply for a price! Will probably order from you, but it seems a bit too complicated.

Following my online order I wasn’t contacted regarding delivery at all. Had to call twice to ask. No after care call at all. For the price I would have expected more. Also had to put the bed together ourselves as delivery men couldn’t get it up the stairs (not their fault) and instructions for the ottoman bed were hard to follow. Ottoman also very hard to close.

The mattress looks great quality and I wanted a product that was made in the UK with locally sourced materials. On arrival, the mattress initially has a rabbit hutch/straw kind of smell, which may be the materials used to make it, but that gradually fades after a few weeks, although I do still catch the off whiff if the windows have been closed all night. Comfort-wise, the mattress is ok, I'm a bit disappointed if I'm honest, I've slept on comfier beds in hotels. One of the main reasons for a new mattress was to isolate the mattress movement from my husband, I actually spoke to one of the online chat advisors about this, because along with comfort, it was one of my top priorities. The advisor guaranteed me that I wouldn't be able to notice my husband moving in the night and that the bigger the bed, the less chance of this happening. From her guidance - I ordered a super kingsize mattress, the biggest available! Unfortunatley, my husbands motions are not isolated and I can still notice when he moves.

Beds and sales service excellent - very slow delivery times and the after service not great had to continually chase ....could do better. Love the products have brought 3 beds from them.

Had a bit of a bad start with lack of communication about delivery of my bed. I had to call twice before being given a delivery date even though this was far beyond the 3 weeks that was said online. Once my delivery date was scheduled all went very smoothly. Bed is beautiful. Delivery guys were very good polite and professional, arrived ahead of time as well.

The service was fine. The products look good in pictures, but come with two design issues -- one of which I would call a flaw. Button & Sprung platforms are high, so when you put a nice mattress on them, you're REALLY high. Be prepared to be higher up than you've ever been in bed. Then there's the flaw: Button & Sprung platforms are sized exactly as mattresses. This means that once you make the bed, the thickness of even the most modest mattress protector, sheets and blanket make the mattress appear too big for the platform, as it's hanging over. A simple fix that would make Button & Sprung beds look a lot better is if 2cm were added to on either side and to the length of its platforms. A made bed would look a whole lot better!

Hi Gary, Thanks so much for your review, and for your feedback. We always welcome feedback on our products, as this helps us to create the best products we can for customers! Regarding the height, I agree - this does depend a lot on your mattress, and also with your personal preference of whether you like being a bit higher up. We get some customers asking whether we can lower the height, and others asking to make it even higher, so we try and meet in the middle. However, we do have some lower leg options from a third party company if the bed is slightly too high. The decision to create a bed where the mattress sits flush to the base (and therefore different to our competitors) was actually intended, for a few reasons. Firstly, this reduces the overall footprint of the bed, meaning you have a bit more space in the room (sometimes to the point of being able to go up a bed size). Secondly, we find that bases which extend beyond the mattress can result in you bashing your shins as you go past (which is pretty painful!). It also makes using our ottomans a lot easier, as you're less likely to trap your fingers in the base. I hope this helps explain our thought process, and thanks again for leaving us a review. The delivery was speedy, but they scratched my wooden floors in the bedroom. They also parked in the middle of the road (it is a narrow road) and when someone needed to get past they made him wait and sorted out the bed first. I wasn't kept informed with the delivery. I was told I would be called as I had a school run to do. I received no call, I had to chase and then they were significantly later than originally told...which wasn't a problem, but I didn't have to wait and get someone else to do the school run

The bed is lovely and as expected however the service post order to delivery was disappointing. I had to continually chase up to find out when to expect delivery with emails and phone calls. They did say they would update me when we placed the order.

I liked the mix and match approach at Button and Sprung and am now happy with my bed. But the mix up with the drawers was pretty unforgivable - I requested black caps on the drawers verbally, then confirmed this three more times by email and phone. It was even written in the bed makers' handwriting on my docket slip. However, the bed arrived with white caps and I had to take more time off work to wait for the bed maker to revisit.
