“Fantastic customer service, excellent response when enquiring about lead time on a back ordered item and sent it super quick once it was back in stock. All responses were friendly and personal, rather than cut & paste (or no response at all like certain Big competitors!) Calumet also came in about 20% cheaper than others and used a reliable, fast courier”

“I knew what product I intended to buy before I went into my local Calumet branch. After a brief look around, I was approached by a friendly member of the team. I explained what I was interested in and my budget. The Calumet team member knew exactly which products would be suitable to my needs and kept my budget in mind as they started to show me the best options. I was very impressed (as always) with their subject knowledge and their practical uses. Having narrowed my options down, the Calumet team member explained the finer points of my selections before allowing me time to consider my options. I asked a few more difficult questions which I didn't really expect the team member to be able to answer, so I was surprised when they showed their extensive knowledge and answered most ably. My decision was made, based on the knowledge and my preference of the options. The Calumet team member boxed up my purchases and made sure I was happy with what I was getting; they were even able to guide me to a summer offer of a freebie from the manufacturer as well! The freebie normally retails at £84 - so my money was very well spent in Calumet! I'll be using Calumet time and again as my business expands and my equipment needs upgrading (continuing to hire kit from Calumet in the meantime!) in the future. ??????????”

“Calumet staff are very good to deal with although we are having major problems with the delivery of our order to Malaga, Spain. The courier company SEUR that you use for the Spanish side of the delivery are useless and didn't call at our office at the times we work - they also didn't leave a slip to say they'd called and when we drove into Malaga city to collect the delivery from the head office we were told they had sent the order back to the UK. It says on their website that they keep deliveries for 7 days before returning them, but they returned it after 5 days. You cannot speak to them over the phone as everything is automated. We now have to wait a further 2 to 3 weeks for the order to get back to us after already having waited 3 weeks!”

“Having recently decided to make the move from using speedlites to portable flash I popped into the Calumet store in Bristol to speak with the staff to hire and test some Profoto kit before committing to the purchase. I spoke with Andy and Steven in branch who were both very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable on the Profoto range. Even better Andy suggested that I could redeem the hire costs against the price of kit if we're to purchase that month, all round fantastic service and the guys even showed me how to get to grubs with the kit before I hired it :)”
