“I've been using Calumet for about a decade. They're one of perhaps two photo retailers I trust. Can't remember a single bad experience. Last week, I visited while passing (always dangerous) and walked out with a couple of bags of stuff. Really good, friendly, knowledgeable service and even a bit of a discount. Well done and thanks.”

“Service was pretty poor. I asked a member of staff who was taking my payment on a purchase how much the CF cards where including VAT, he didn't tell me and I asked him twice. He was very preoccupied in looking at some of his colleagues dealing with other customers and failed to say hi or engage in the slightest with me through out. I left feeling a bit miffed to his attitude and basic manners especially after parting with £220 worth of goods. It was the end of the day and it seemed that it had been a hard day and there was lot going on so thats what I put it down too. Thats the first time i've had service like that in any of your stores.”

“Popped into the shop to buy a a bag choice was fine and so was the price. Service however is very slow and I had to wait for the sales person to complete some sort of transaction on the till before she served me. No apology was made for making me wait and then checkout was again very slow. I suggest investment in new Epos may be a good idea and some service training for staff.”

“Absolutely fantastic service. He staff were very knowledgable and helpful. Even though the lens that they recommended was not in stock in store it was delivered to us at home the following day by tracked courier. Great service and competitive prices. Will be back for all my future requirements.”

“Needed a new spare battery for my Nikon so popped into Calumet. The chap knew what I wanted, offered two choices, the Nikon or own brand, went and got what I wanted and provided service with a smile. Simple, quick and professional, exactly what I need.”

“I was going to call in about the poor service. I went to your store in Euston and I have to say the person that served me was NOT really helpful and mad me feel quite bad as I am not a camera person. I found the whole experience very uncomfortable. If another shop had the camera that I got in stock I have to say " I would have not bothered getting it in your store. Very poor service. Still you live and you learn.”

“I made a purchase of a relatively low value item at the Birmingham store, only £160.00 which for a camera store really isn't a lot, but the service I received was fantastic. The assistant, Danielle, couldn't have been any more helpful, answering all of my questions and making sure I was totally happy with my final decision...A really excellent shopping experience!”
