“Attended seminar on Pro-foto lighting at Calumet Glasgow, I was slightly disappointed as it turned out to be a drop in session and not as the 20 places only implied a seminar. However I made the best of it and received some excellent one to one tuition on the current line of profoto gear from Colin Ricardo. I am also currently in the market for a new dslr body. I spoke to Tommy a member of Calumets staff who was extremely patient at going through the pros and cons of the various cameras. So much so I have made my mind up and will be returning to the store to make a purchase. Excellent service”

“I had a really great experience - Sebastien Hamming helped me and made everything easy and more efficient on my new shoulder rig. He was knowledgeable and found new ways to make something work without weighing me down on the rig, or financially! thanks to Sebastien, I'll be crediting him on my tiger documentary when it's finished, best, Andrea Walji”

“The items were put on order by phone. I twice asked for confirmation that they were available - no reply The staff in Birmingham were friendly and helpful . On Friday pick up the wrong lens had been sent, the shutter release cable did not match the D750, The 1.4 X Converter would not fit the 80-400mm lens provided and I should have had D750 software in order to open NEF files in CS5 - my ignorance. Nevertheless the equipment I could use gave me an interesting and challenging weekend. If there is another time, I will double check at point of pick up.”

“I was disapponted at the length of time the last canon equivalent battery lasted, suffice to say it wasn't a genuine canon product so I ordered a replacement battery from Calumet. It arrived promptly and am now going to photogaph a wedding with complete peace of mind that it's going to do the job and last into the bargain. Thanks”

“Greeted promptly by the advisor, he made eye contact as soon as walked in. I knew what I wanted when I came to the store. We did have a chat about a new DSLR product I am interested in buying and he was very informative. Good job done!!”

“I regularly shop at Calumet in Glasgow, I find the staff very knowledgable and friendly. They always make an effort to guide you the the right piece of equipment for you and although I find it a bit more expensive than some other options, the advice and service you receive helps make up for that. The staff also make an effort to remember your name, it's a small thing but makes a big difference. Gregor”

“I ordered medium format and 35 mm film online. The price was very competitive and Calumet stocks all the film types I use. I had to pay extra for postage of course, but the films were delivered the next day by courier in very secure packaging. Going to the store would have taken at least an hour or two, so a very happy experience. Thanks!”

“Shocking service from Calumet. Not sure I'd ever shop online again with them. I ordered a lens hood for the new Canon 50mn STM lens. The website said this item was in stock. My order was accepted and my money was taken from my credit card. After hearing nothing for 48 hours I called and was told the item was actually out of stock and would be a week or so. In fact I called a week later and was told that the items were not expected from Canon until October (I didn't ask which year!). Consequently I missed out on the chance to get one from my work colleague who was in New York and could have picked one up for me. So I am feeling pretty unhappy at 1) the online offering from Calumet: 2) the customer service from Calumet: 3) the lack of effort to keep me as a customer or even apologise! For me WEX, Park Cameras, Fotosense and Anazon are the best UK online dealers and of course B&H in the U.S. Sorry I couldn't say anything more positive but Calumet you really suck!”
