“I have bought three cameras from Calumet in the past five years and always received impeccable service from them. They are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Location is great and so is their expertise and range of equipment. I'll be shopping there in the future for sure!”

“I ordered a Canon 6D well within the prescribed time schedule to qualify for next day delivery and duly received tracking information. The following day a parcel arrived via an unknown courier containing one of the free accessories, in fact, the one which I didn't actually want anyway. Each time that I followed up the tracking detail I was told that either I had input the wrong number or the details were so old they had been archived! No "next day delivery" was received. I telephoned and was told that the camera and the other accessories had "missed" or were not ready for the couriers collection but would be sent that day. As a result I had to wait in another day for the delivery. The tracking number never was recognised by the courier website even after the goods were received! So if you are waiting for goods to arrive and arrange your diary accordingly add on an extra day.”

“I have recently used Calumet Photographic for two transactions (1) to repair a broken camera lens, and (2) to book an educational course. In both cases, the service was exemplary and I was left with the feeling that Calumet really care for their clients, a rarity in this day and age! Happy to recommend for ALL your photographic needs.”

“The service was very efficient and personal I have one small complaint though,that the invoice/delivery note didn,t quote the price and how much I spent but this is minor. Overall a very good srvice”

“Staffs are friendly and helpful. They gave me practical advice to me on how to use my new canon 50mm f/1.4 lens. As somebody said, choosing your first prime lens is harder than choosing your first love. You need a little bit of advice”

“This time it was fine. On previous occasions I've had to walk out when staff have been chatting on the phone and have totally ignored me, or, when I have asked for something on the phone and asked them to ring back (which they offered to do), they just haven't bothered. I started an account with the predecessors of Calument (Keith Johnson, Pelling, KJP etc) in 1972 and service has deteriorated substantially. Certainly nothing like as good as it was.”

“I chose Calumet, not because they were a company that I know and regularly used, but because they offered the item I wanted at the best price. I saw the item I wanted for sale by Calumet via amazon, but wanting to cut out the Amazon affiliate I went directly to Calumet. The service was quick and efficient and I was not waiting long at all for my item. In fact it came exactly the day that was promised on the email. I felt like I was kept up-to-date with the order status and this was reassuring. I would definitely use Calumet again, as the mixture of good service and competitive pricing actually allows me to support and independent company and avoid using a bigger player like Amazon. Thanks!”

“The item i wanted was not in stock at the Manchester store, however the staff there quickly located one at another branch and had it shipped to Manchester the next day. Fantastic service from the staff at Manchester as always.”

“Great speedy service! I ordered a battery pack for my flash unit on the Calumet online site and it arrived well packed and on time as promised.It is a great help when something is needed urgently that a fast overnight facility is available.”

“The products where easy to find, view and buy on the website. I liked that you rang me to confirm the order as part of your security process which gives peace of mind. I was pleased to receive the order the next working day as per promise but not so happy that all of the order didn't arrive without an explanation. However, when I emailed my enquiry I had a quick response and the matter was dealt with efficiently and items received next day despite it being a Saturday delivery, so big smiles :)”

“Telephone operator very pleasant and very helpful ,order processed and delivered the next day by courier even though order was placed after 2pm. When parcel arrived i was surprised to see how much protective packaging had been used i am sure that it was impossible for contents to be damaged.”
