“I ordered a Canon 5DS from the Manchester branch and was served by John. He said they had none in stock but would look into getting one, the following day he called to say he had sourced the camera and I could either collect from the branch or it could be sent directly to me. I collected it from the branch 2 days later. All in all great service delivered by a professional who knows the business inside out. Thanks. Robert Walker.”

“I've made two orders recently both were in stock and on my door step within 2 days i even had a mail from the staff to say that there would be separate delivery of my items on the same day, great value very helpful when i had a minor queery it was dealt with professionally and swiftly. will most certainly be shopping again, my wish list is getting bigger not smaller.”

“Went to the store to spend a considerable amount of money on a new camera (and trade in an old one) - the guy who served me was one of the slowest servers i've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. It took almost an hour for me to be able to spend over £2,500. He didn't seem capable of coherent thought - he started processing the sale and mentioned that they may not have all of the items, and then carried on - i had to prompt him to check if alternatives were available or even if I could complete the sale on the day. Everything seems to take ages and seemed to be a challenge for him to comprehend. I didn't get the impression that this guy new much about cameras. I rate Calumet as a company, but this was a terrible customer experience - painful ..... very very painful”

“I was really surprised at how quickly I was able to order my items and the speed of delivery. I didn't even have to pay for express delivery, it was just quick! And, a member of the Calumet team called me as a security check, which was great given that I'd requested my items to be delivered to an alternative address where I'd be working that day. Overall, really pleased with the service.”

“I purchased a second hand flash gun ,the help and information i recieved from the assistant was brilliant he took time to explain alot of things to me on all the questions i asked him. on previous times i have been served by him was very good aswell it was the younger gentleman who served me he is very good at his job.”

My hire went trough Richard and had the chance to see some of the equipment before the collection. At the return of the equipment they further supported me technically (Vaughan) . “Bought a Nikon D750 First time in Calumet. Excellent service, very helpful and informative (nice to be dealt with staff who know what they're talking about) not pushy and not rushed. I was given a demo camera to try out in the shop, this was very useful and helped me make my mind up. Prices are reasonable. Shop was clean, bright and very organised. Parking isn't a problem. I would use again and definitely reccomend.”

“I use Calumet in Glasgow often, the staff are always friendly and knowledgable, no warranty pushing as you get elsewhere. Their own brand equipment is always very solid and well priced, so you can save a few bucks, more than a few actually if you aren't bothered about 'branded' lighting stands etc. On the occasion I have been asked to review I was purchasing a used camera body I had seen on their website and called up to reserve. I dealt with the same person I had spoke to on the phone (Alan) and was able to try the camera body out with a couple of their lenses and do any pre-purchase checks I wanted. On the last occasion I was in, remembering that I do video work, one of the staff pointed out a special video demonstration day they have coming up. I would recommend Calumet to anybody, novice, enthusiast expert or professional. They have a good attitude no matter what you are buying, the shopping experience is laid back, the range good, prices competitive, and the staff take an interest in the work you are doing, beyond perfunctory or superficial politeness.”
