“I went in to purchase a few items from my local store and the staff sorted out methods for me to purchase an item and I had an issue with the finance copy and they were always happy to help out and very patient with everything and took extra time to help as much as possible.”

“My recent purchase was actually a place on Gary Perlmutter's street photography workshop run out of Calumet Drummond Street. I can't speak too highly of this. Gary was outstanding and Calumet's backup was excellent.”

“I bought a Bowen's 400 rx twin light kit. Delivery. Was fast as was the checkout process. When the package was opened on Thursday one of the modelling bulbs was smashed. Turned the heads on and they appeared to work fine. Working with them Saturday one of the heads stopped working after approximately 5 minutes ! Managed to complete the work and went home slightly miffed that my brand new kit wasn't what I'd hoped. Rang customer services who were incredibly helpful. Took the time to listen, understand and gave me a solution. 60 miles later I turned up at the showroom on the Hagley Rd in Birmingham. The showroom was spotless and I was immediately spoken to. The guy who served me was fantastic. Really pleasant and helped me out. He waited until the light failed again, answered my questions and gave me great advice . They swapped over the faulty light and delivered really great customer service. Thank you to all the staff I've dealt with. You have all been a credit to your company. I will definitely be buying further equipment from you!”

“I purchased an used DSLR. Very fair price which included bag,charger and 1 year warranty. Friendly helpful staff with minimal sales pressure. They also offered to bring in stock from branches on the mainland. The only downside was the rather limited range of secondhand cameras but I suppose that depends what comes in the door. I'd definitely buy from them again.”

“As with all my contacts with Calumet, both in person at Bristol and through central telephone ordering, this order was no different. I called to get a second battery pack for my Nikon. Having experience of Calumets own brand I ordered one, however, it was put on back order due to manufacturing issues in Japan. I was kept up to date on delivery. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and give a feeling of people centred service - Excellent. I also find Calumet a fantastic location to go and see equipment in a relaxed atmosphere.”

“I had excellent service from a very patient expert in the Glasgow store. He explained all the choices for a cropped frame camera, gave me stuff away to read and helped make my final decision to buy a lens. I'll definitely go back there. Thanks”

“Excellent customer service at both the London shops. Staff extremely help full on my last two visits to the Wardour Street, London W1. I did not have the exact information on my existing Nikon camera lens, he help sort out and I was able to make my purchase of the filter etc.”

“Calumets service was as usual superb. However it was frustrating that Nikon provided no update information to either myself or Calumet and suggested that I channel all enquiries through Calumet as the supplier, when they knew there had been no info provided to Calumet. I would expect better from Nikon.”

“Canon EOS 70D body and other items delivered within 18 hours of order being placed. Price very competitive for UK. Speaking from bitter experience, I'll be going this route again in future. The attraction of cheaper prices from Hong Kong is a route fraught with complications – poor communications, misinformation and often long delays. Just not worth it.”

“I went in to the Soho store with an item in mind, but not exactly sure what my options were. I was presented with a couple of different products and I made my decision. The guy was friendly and helpful, and I swiftly bought a Manfrotto 055 Carbon Fibre tripod and carry bag. He even gave me a small discount. Thanks Calumet!”
