“Great online experience. Quick and easy to find what I wanted. Swift payment process - with no hiccups. Great website, and excellent range of stock. Competitive prices too. I used to use Digital Rev (in Hong Kong) as their prices were highly competitive but it seems Calumet Photographic are on par with them. Decent prices, quick & painless checkout experience, wonderful range of stock. Will definitely be back - to purchase or hire. Excellent service overall. I would definitely recommend.”

“The salesman was knowledgeable about the product and fully acquainted with its workings which he was able to demonstrate. I went into the shop merely to look at a lightweight tripod and came out with it tucked under my arm! What else can I say?”

“Calumet is a longstanding, well respected Photographic firm with who I dealt with in my need for all things photographic in the 1980's. They gave an exceptional service then, combined with quality goods, next o none. I was forced to give up my darkroom, when I moved, and picked up digital photography thirteen years ago. It was a different game then, and the software very basic, mostly working to jpeg quality and small size prints. In my film days I worked to 20x16, mostly monochrome and I exhibited, as far as Australia. I loved it. I am now 80 and have just got my first full frame DSLR, I work in RAW and Monochrome. Together with my Nikon D750, I am able to replicate in Photoshop6 what I did in film and wet processing. How did find Calumet again? I was checking on the internet, looking for a sturdy hard case that could be pulled rather than being carried. Up came Calumet with just what I needed. What a surprise they were still out there. I placed my order, paid by PAYPAL, and was delivered the next morning, free, by courier. Excellent service. I needed to clarify several points on the foam inlay, so I later telephoned them. Just like the old days I was received courteously by Adrian and his help was invaluable in providing a snug well fitting home for my new 600mm lens. Thank you Calumet and may you prosper well into the future. I will beck back. You are marked on my Favourite list in my browser. Peter Talbot”

“I could not fault the service now and a few years ago. I do not buy a lot but felt comfortable if there was any problems that they would be able to sort it out. I used the Manchester Shop and would use again if I need to add to my list of equipment.”

“I've used the service of Calumet Manchester a number of times. Their service is the top level; staff members and the manager are always friendly, approachable, listen to my feedback, and tried whatever they could to make sure I was happy with my purchase and the products. On a couple of occasions I had to return my Nikon lenses, but it's due to the consistency/quality control of Nikon. On each occasion there was no trouble at all, and my return and refund went smoothly. Their trust in customers and readiness to help customers make me feel always want to go back to them when I need any new stuff. It's great to know I could trust and rely on Calumet Manchester.”

“I was trying to decide between two lenses but couldn't find them both in stock anywhere locally. The Manchester branch of Calumet arranged to have both lenses available for me to try with my own camera body, so I could compare their performance and physical properties. After making my decision, i was able to price match the lens with other suppliers and so received excellent service and a very good price. Thank you.”

Friendly and helpful staff both in store and through the website help line . “Absolutely exemplary. Visited the shop in Bristol and was very pleasantly surprised by the helpful and knowledgeable advice on lenses and the completely non-pushy attitude. Rather than being advised to buy the most expensive I was asked what I needed lenses for and how I would use them and then given advice on which would be best specifically for me. I now have the best lenses for what I want rather than something I'd have to stretch to afford. On top of this, I received a lesson in sensor cleaning and other camera advice - all part of the service. Well worth travelling to.”

“I have purchased cameras, lenses and other equipment from the Manchester branch over the last few months. All members of staff are friendly, polite and in no way pushy! They are knowledgeable and are happy to help when needed. Other high street photography chains should take note - pushy sales people may get a small additional sale on the day but they lose customers. Calumet have me as a customer for the forseeable future.”

“The staff in your Wardour St branch was superb! I came in with an old discovered analogue Olympus which wasn't working. The gentleman who served me was not only really helpful but hugely enthusiastic and just made the experience ultra special. Thank you!”
