“Store was very quiet as I was only customer. Was left to browse in peace and information/advice provided on request which suits me best as I don't like a 'hard-sell'. Lots of equipment that is hard to find in any high-street stores. Own brand equipment seems well made and competitively priced. Good range of equipment too - will pay another visit nearer to pay-day probably :)”

“Overall good experience : staff was helpful and knowledgeable and nice One minor issue : I was not told about ongoing promotions and only saw one that could apply to me just before paying. Staff member then had to ask for details which delayed the whole transaction a bit. So, next time I will have a better look around the shop before purchasing anything. Impressed by the amount of items on display, lots of choice.”

“I can't rate the service I have received over the past couple of years highly enough, but recently the staff, and manager, have gone out of their way to help me out of a hole, not of my own making, and certainly not of theirs! I found their approach to be extremely calming while I was in full panic mode. I felt fully supported by them at all times and I know for a fact that their manager came in on their day off to look after me. Definitely on my Christmas Card list!”

“Calumet Belfast is great. Angus very helpful. Postage too expensive. an Ink cartridge does not need to be put in a shoe box and cost 6.66 to post.”

“I visit the London showroom. The advice is very good and has improved in recent years. The staff are well informed and helpful, but not over pushy. There can be a wait to see someone, always the way when advice needs to be detailed.”

“I took a Nikon camera in for estimate and repair following water damage. I had to chase several times to find out progress and eventually had to ask for the estimate. That took several weeks! When it was finally returned to the shop following repair there was a new fault on the flash - if the photo required a flash it wouldn't work. This is following extensive bench testing at Nikon repair centre. I t has been returned again to Nikon for further repair and promised to be dealt with as urgent. Another ten days has passed with no information back from Calumet and still no sign of my camera. Unfortunately I have paid Calumet for the initial repair, so I don't suppose they are too bothered now how long it takes. Not even offered a temporary replacement - poor show. Very disappointed with the lack of service, communication and consideration, and perhaps Nikon repair centre should be in the dock as well for their incompetence.”

“I have been having problems with my Canon Speedlite when using certain batteries. My friend always uses Calumet ones and never has a problem so I decided it was worth investing in some. I fully intend to buy more!”

“I ordered some cleaning cloths three weeks ago and have finally received them today after the order was re-sent. The Calumet staff have been very helpful within the rules they are given but FedEx have made various and different claims as to what has happened. At no point was the original delivery made here nor was any missed delivery paperwork put through my letterbox.”

“What a brilliant service. The staff took in my camera with its broken lens, they kept me well informed and when I said that I had a wedding to photograph for a relative the very day I could pick up my camera they recharged the battery. Fantastic and would recommend to anyone :)”

“Having bought a couple of (small) things online a while ago, I was somewhat surprised to discover the shop is less than 5 miles from where I work! Popped in after a recommendation from a friend, and was duly very impressed by the quality of service and knowledge of the staff. Being the clumsy, ahem, person I am, I managed to totally remove the sliding grip from my nice new Lowepro backpack; took it back in a couple of days later, and the problem was speedily and easily fixed for me. Very happy guy here, and would heartily recommend Calumet to anyone who asks. (And anyone who doesn't, too!!)”

“Great service, great staff. Was given a fair price for a trade in against a new lens. Lens arrived quickly and more importantly I was emailed with updates about what was happening with it. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. All in all a great experience and they will be my first port of call for any new equipment in the future.”
