“I have had fantastic service recently from Calumet Manchester. Purchasing 2 camera bodies over the phone and having them delivered the next day. I dealt with Lesley and she was incredibly helpful. I have used Calumet for 15 years and will continue to do so. Many thanks”

“I was looking for a used Nikon D200 body at the Photography Show in Birmingham to replace a camera that had failed on me and was uneconomical to repair. On the Calumet stand there were a few Nikon D300 bodies for sale and I asked to take a look at one. Imagine my surprise to find that it was in as new condition with very, very few shutter actuations. It was also available at the bargain show price of £199 with a 12 month guarantee. I bought the camera and upon testing I discovered that the battery was faulty, possibly as a result of low use. I called your customer services and spoke to Raj who agreed to replace the battery with a genuine Nikon item free of charge. A fantastic service as always from Calumet”

“Bought in December a panel/reflector kit consisting of frame, legs, white diffusion fabric, black/silver fabrics, clips... Received them during the next 4 months, more or less one item each month. Obviously, I wasn't really able to any of these until I finally got the last item last week. And I'm still waiting for an unrelated product bought at the same time. Make yourself a favor, buy from Amazon instead.”

“The lady that served me was extremely professional: worked out exactly what I was looking for, made sensible suggestions, even managing to "up-sell" me! She even took the trouble to mention a discount after I had agreed the purchase. I wished she works for my company!”

“I have always had a fabulous experience in Calumet, the staff have always been amazing, but on this occasion I was quite shocked how rude the staff member was, even my other half mentioned it when we got in the car after leaving the store. She as quite sharp and did not have a good way with people. I won't let it put me off shopping at calumet, I will just fish out the members of staff who have been fabulous on the past and stay clear of the rude ones.”

“Very good, however went to the exhibition in Birmingham and I spoke to 3 members of calumet staff, two members of staff gave me a different percentage of an item and the third didn't. Felt like it was a bit unorganised.”

“made the trip through to buy a Nikon F1.8 lens as advertised. Did not have one in stock so ended up buying a more expensive lens. Rather disappointed as I could have bought the other lens online £20 cheaper.”

“Going to buy an expensive camera at a shop like Calumet can be daunting when you've not done it before. Service in such specialist shops can be haughty elsewhere but not here. I had lots of very helpful advice delivered in a friendly and professional manner. I'm loving my new camera too. 10/10.”

“recently equipment was purchased by telephone and arranged to be collected in store, annoyingly the items were not in one store but had to be reserved and collected from Drummond St. and Wardour St. i would have assumed calumet could have arranged that they gather the items together for one collection, however thats the least of the problems, when my colleague went to collect the items he had to wait nearly an hour to be told that they didn't have the item at the Drummond St store and that it was out of stock this was close to the end of the day and left 15 minutes to get to the Wardour st.store (which luckily he did manage with an expensive cab journey as we had an early flight the next morning on a shoot the equipment was required for) its really a shame that as a professional photographer I feel I can only use Calumet as a last resort supplier.”

“I took my camera to the glasgow branch and seen by Tommy and he booked it it for a sensor clean . He was knowledgable plesant and very helpful . Did my camera sensor clean that day and called me back with his opinion and was a great experience from start to finish . Will use calumet again”

“Staff were friendly and helpful up to a point. Sadly they didn't have stock of part of my order, and haven't given me much clarity on when my lens purchase is likely to be in stock. I'd have the item much sooner were I to order online from a competitor.”

“Everyone at Calumet was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. It was my first time hiring photographic equipment, and although I had a rough idea what I was looking for the Calumet staff really helped me to work out exactly what I needed. It was also very affordable and, I thought, good value for money.”

“Visited the Glasgow store today looking for a Nikon pro lens - after taking the time to show me some tips on my camera settings the advice from the very informative Paul Christie was to practice away with what I had and once I had mastered the camera (Nikon D5300) settings pop back in and see them, even offered to email him if I was having any problems. How many places would simply try and get a sale out of you speaks volumes for the guys you may get cheaper online but no way would you get the advice / knowledge or service back up nothing bought today but will be back 100%. Colin Stephen”
