“1/ i find is greatly annoying that my "account" on the Calumet website does not link to my REAL shop account … pathetic comes to mind 2/ i find it annoying when i discover that there is sometimes a large difference between what a product costs at Calumet against online (an unfortunate situation but this is modern life … and photography has been devalued so much by the internet that the products i use for it have to become as cheap as possible to make any business sense) 3/ i cannot order hire goods online 4/ if i buy something in a sale i do not expect to find in the invoice that accompanies the order that it is a discontinued product, this is not the worst thing i can say, but it happened recently and the DECENT thing would have been told of this when trying to buy the thing rather than as i received the product - it felt SNEAKY) 5/ the moans i have made above are counteracted by the positive feel i receive from those who work at the drummond street branch i have been using since it opened - i can safely say i like them:))”

“This prime lens seems to suit my Nikon D80 very well. It is an excellent supplement to the lens that came with the camera, which has a good zoom. It enables me to take better, sharper portraits. It will also function well in poor lighting conditions, reducing my need for flash or the graininess of a high ISO. The automatic focus sometimes needs to be switched off, as it can focus on the wrong thing (but I may have the wrong menu setting). And of course it is difficult to get much depth of field in poor lighting. I am gradually getting used to moving myself instead of adjusting the zoom. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to expand their photographic technique and create more opportunities for good portraits.”

“I have placed two orders with Calumet and response as follows:- Order placed 8th Jan 2014 Originally Hahnel Giga T Pro 11, order was for a Canon but I have a Nikon D800 also cleaning fluid out of stock (as of Mon 20th Jan) and still not arrived into stock, I would have thought this would be a standard stock item (code 999-406S).”

“If this is about the Nikon D600 I bought, I'd say, I'm happy with the camera and price from you. However it developed dust on the sensor after no time of shooting (definitely not from me changing lenses etc). This had caused me a huge problem on a job that I shot in South Africa, as I couldn't see this in bright sunshine and huge amounts of the footage are unusable. Your staff have given me a free sensor clean which I'm happy with but we'll see if the problem recurs. I feel this is something you should be taking up with Nikon as I see on forums that this is a common problem with the D600.”
