“Initially very good, friendly , knowledgable and helpful in shop. However, two items ordered to be mailed to me afterwards failed to arrive and it has taken 3 phone calls, another visit and almost 2 months to obtain a refund, so follow up service precludes me from marking any higher. If the order failure had been dealt with efficiently, I would have been marking very good here”

“I have been shopping at Calumet since relocating to the UK about 2 years ago. I never had to walk into the 2 London stores without anyone ready to say hello and to help me find what I needed and offer alternatives. I love the service and always enjoy going in there to have a look and chat with the guys about anything of interest that I saw in the catalogue I have. You guys ROCK.”

“The point of having a camera shop is to go in and try new tech. Everything you go into the Belfast shop there is hardly any tech that suppliers have put on the shop floor to try out. I was considering buying the new Sony A7s, but even at the Calumet open day there was no Sony gear to try. Poor”

“I bought a studio flash and its remote control, think its very poor to send the remote control unit, and I have to wait until the end of july for the flash, the unit cannot be checked as it only fires these flash heads, so by the time the light may arrive 2 months warrenty have gone for a start Bit of a joke that the AS250 head is now not showing in the website listing and the 500 head is still showing as awaiting stock why not just delete the whole product range as you have not filled the orders placed in may !”

“The staff have a deep and comprehensive knowledge of photography, this they use to assist and not used in a condescending way. They listen to my opinions and queries and then they comment. Overall the effect is that that is where I want to purchase my equipment needs”

“I have been buying from Calumet for some time, both online & in their London store. I always find their service to be very good. They stock a good range, and cater for everyone from those starting out in photography, to full time professionals. On a negative point, they do need to watch the price they charge for SOME of their equipment though, as I have found some items to be very uncompetitively priced at times. They do however normally match those charged by competitors to be fair, although this puts the onus on the customer to do their homework before buying, rather than instilling confidence that they will alway receive a highly competitive Deal. Calumet will continue to be a main supplier of my needs, but for this reason, not my sole supplier.”

“Made a small purchase and enquired about specific reasons to upgrade my current 'Street' camera. Assistant was very helpful and informative, allowing me to inspect and try alternative combinations. This gave me a far better idea of what is currently available to satisfy my needs; something I could never obtain reading reviews or enquiring/purchasing over the Net. Very satisfied. Thank You”

“The great thing about Calumet is that they usually have it in stock, just about anything you are looking for, there it is. Their own brand of hardware, studio clamps, tripods etc. is top notch and often better than the original. Studio clamps for instance have a lifting handle which Manfrotto don't have, but it's the little things that make the difference. Friendly and knowledgeable staff too”

“Hello, I have made several purchases over the years from Calumet Glasgow store, and have always found the staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the product I was looking to purchase, without any encouragement to make a sale, and it is always a pleasure too shop there, even just to browse, with a view to making a purchase in the future. “Excellent service at belfast with matt kelly etc - trade prices not too good though on my excellent cameras!!! You could offer a little more....... but all the same fast efficient and friendly staff - please have sessions on a monday or tuesday if you can as they always seem to be thursdays and I work that day all the time. cheers”
