First scooter was faulty and went without for nearly 3 weeks (Christmas time 🙄). Second scooter is 8 month old and loses power. Cannot manage 2 miles on it now. Called and was told batteries are only guaranteed for 6 months! I explained that I don’t know for sure the battery is at fault. Something must be draining it IF it is the battery. Was told an engineer will come in about 7-10 days. Today is the end of the 10th day and no visit as of yet. Staff at Leicester are polite enough but I feel the policies are ridiculous. My dad has been pretty much housebound because it takes an engineer 7-10 days to come out! Based on the fact that disabled people use this company I would have thought a quicker response time would have been put in place. I will call again in the morning but I am doubtful anything will be quickly resolved.

Diabolical, treating elderly and Vulnerable folk like this. Ordered Standard size recliner and Standard size Static chair Recliner OK ,Static much narrower, uncomfortable,must have sent a “ Petite”? rather than Standard,?Customer service say not and rejected my claim, 45 emails and many sleepless nights later I have now resorted to using a Which? Legal solicitor

Dreadful service, paid over £2000 for a mobility scooter while waiting for scooter unfortunately dad had a massive decline in health and we are now at end of life care. Several calls to care co re refund to be told refund given ….. god knows who too because it’s certainly not in our account, when asked to check the system is conveniently down!!!

DON’T BUY online! Go to a showroom and try first would be my advice. Only choose the self-build option if you are fit and can do heavy lifting and check out the YouTube video first .... you won't find it on the CareCo website!! Ignore the “blurb” about the box as the engineer told me they bring a box if they’re collecting! Don’t bother looking for information on how to take off the Wheel Lock as it doesn't exist but DO have a piece of string handy (as told to me by the CareNo engineer!) to keep this from dropping down and causing alarm.Don’t bother with the instructions in the user manual … they are completely wrong and utterly misleading. Finally ….. DON’T!! Look elsewhere.

My advice is , please read the reviews before you buy, the after service, especially refunds, is really bad !!

This company is an absolute disgrace. My husband ordered a mobility scooter 2 months ago. He got a grant from a, charity towards the cost. Care. Co neglected to invoice the charity for the rest of the cost. They took my husband's money the same day he ordered it in April. The matter is still not resolved and left my husband very stressed. The operators on the phone are very abrupt when challenged to what's going on. If this is ever resolved we will never use them again.

If you buy a product from this company and it's not suitable for purpose be prepared to be charged to return it! Hidden in their T&C's I even asked about returning the product and no mention of a returns fee! Appalling customer service!

If it’s out of warranty they’re not interested. They’re very interested in selling you something new! Definitely do not buy a care co product, because when it goes wrong you may as well throw it away ( mobility scooter)

Looked at website easy parking so parked outside entrance in bay with Blue Badge on view. They gave me a £60 parking ticket for not validating my ticket in store. Considering their old infirm client audience i would not expect better. Perhaps staff mentioning validation? To make it look like they care? Anyway be careful when parking there, i cannot return as i only get bitten once only glad i needed some measurements otherwise i would have bought and then had to pay a £60 bite fee.lol

CareCo are fine taking orders but not so good sorting faults. I had a Evo Suspension Rollator delivered on 26.4.23 bought specifically for my 1 week holiday in woodland, on the 2nd day of my holiday the left suspension broke making it useless, my son did a 3 hour journey to bring my old one. After 2 very long phone calls I was asked to box up in original box and DPD would collect, so far so good. On return I noted the engineers report stated owner error, which I emailed to query as to how this could be so, and the emails are still continuing and just get worse! Yesterday 13th July I was told that I spoke to Callum on 5/7 and was told it was the start knob not being tightened- there is no start knob on rollator, today I've been told that an engineer was sent out!! I've asked for CEO email as this is really stressing me out and I've no confidence now in the product or company

0 stars from us! Absolutely incompetent customer service. No communication between staff members. Delay tactics to refund my 85 year old Mums items that were never delivered. Preying in the aged and venerable. Terrible company. Avoid!! Should be ashamed!!

27/06/23 CareCo took my scooter in for a minor repair. Four days later, it was confirmed the repair had been completed and was scheduled for delivery by courrier the next day. I tracked it on the courier’s website, said retailer had cancelled order. Contacted CareCo, they reassured me all was in hand. Still nothing days later and I am due to go away for a month for medical treatment and I still don’t have my scooter. No response by telephone 17 attempts to call them today. Customer service completely ineffectual. Avoid at all costs. Being disabled is not fun. Having to rely on incompetent and non communicative services is very disappointing and frustrating. Put yourself in my position CareCo…GET THE JOB DONE and satisfy at least one of your customers!

Someone from Careco phoned me a d recommended I buy a skin patch. I paid over the phone. They sent me instead a big tube I never ordered and no skin patch.They took £30..99 from my account. I returned the tube which they arranged and the skin patch sample packs. I have not received a refund for the balance they owe me which is about £25 several weeks later. The only thing I have done wrong was to trust them to put their mistake right. I have spent hours trying to get fairly treated.

Delivery service for this company is truly appalling I paid £60 for an engineers delivery it just did not happen twice so went on to Panther their carriers who were quite frankly incompetent and incapable of running a delivery company the whole incident involved 30 phone calls and just so much frustration it is not worth it the chair was finally delivered but it was not worth the hassle do not order from this company and it would just cause you stress and frustration dreadful

Not helpful at all I’ve had 5 people out to look at my scooter which just stopped on a corridor at the hospital and left me stranded. I purchased a part after paying £80 for call out only to be told that wasn’t the problem they now want me to purchase a battery at the cost of £399 and won’t reimburse me my original £99 for the part I didn’t need. Customer service is non existent wouldn’t recommend this company.

STill waiting for just under £600 to be refunded to me for the first scooter I had to return. This was almost a month now. I did also have a ramp sent out that I was going to return as it was too heavy for me,but the man who came to get the scooter could not get it out with out using the ramp I wanted to return.he also scratch it when he was using it,now I am stuck with ramp I can't use and due to him also not taking it with him to return it after it was sorted with Ipswich show room sorted all of it out for .e I just had to ring up to book date that work best for me. This was the 14/9/22 order date. Then it came 3/10)22 not suitable asked to return.next day.i order a second choice and it came 21/10/22 that is when the ramp got damage what I want to send back it . the second scooter is not suitable due to my problems that.arrived 21/10/22 I rang next day to get it return to only have it collected on 10/11/22 still not refunded for the Missing just under £600 fo from the first one. Now the second one gone back today. And stuck with a ramp due to him using it and damage it I owe the money back to my family members for both these as how we ordered them I have had to pay bit back out my benifit each week and my pip so they can pay their rent and bills. I am now stuck and over drawn in my bank I am disabled as is my daughter who is 21 and need a scooter as does my son who is 29 and me so I hope you can now under stand how important having a scooter is to me. This is why I say check your refunds and make sure you get back what you paid. Don't be afraid speak up if you think it is wrong

I have purchased several items in the past from this company. Today , i attempted to contact them by contact form/ email, the response has been very poor.. On the contact form it stated that replies would be within 48 HOURS!!!! It was just as though they were not interested in a potential sale of around ££2000. By comparison, a message to a competitor company was answered in about 1 minute!

What disgusting company paid over £2500 for a scooter first one chassis broke, after week of communication a new one was sent out which the electrics failed now on our 3rd scooter, you have a pay for engineers to come out. when trying to make a complaint was discriminated under the equality act due to my disability and they have refused to look at my complaint. company is disgusting don't call back when they say, when you do call them you can be on the phone for hours

Having a problem now. Waited 2 weeks for a delivery due this week, in store they are saying 1 week, customer service say 6 weeks! And no one will commit to an exact date let alone a better guess. Why CareCo can you tell us what's going on????
