What a shambles. Poor company policy on collections. Day after day waiting for collection company to collect rollator..They never collected it and Careco had to organize, another company to collect 10 days later. Lengthy waits, after each failed collection, to contact Customer Care to find out what was going on. Lots of promises ,no action, and returns refunds even longer wait. (Min 14 days) My family will never use this company again and my recommendation to you, dear reader, is to give them a wide birth. From the start to the finish of the process of buying a walker will ultimately take one month and endless stress . To be avoided I think.

Having purchased a rise recliner chair from Careco and it performing as expected initially it within the warranty period developed a problem in the sense that it tilted to one side. I contacted customer service who advised that although it was still in warranty that I had to pay £80 for an engineer to visit. In the event that the problem was due to some sort of misuse that any repair would be chargeable but should it be a manufacturing fault that I would get my £80 back. The engineer visited and could see that on elevation the chair was creaking and groaning and sprayed various moving parts with a silicone spray which he said would fix that particular issue (it didn’t). Despite his apparent being an engineer he not only could not see that only 3 out of 4 feet were touching the floor until I shone a torch with clearly showed that one of the feet was sitting 3-5mm proud of the floor which he agreed was the problem, I suggested that he placed a straight edge across the frame to check the level but this engineer didn’t carry one in his van. Further he said it needed a new frame and he would put it in his report and send me a copy which he didn’t. To cut this long story short it took several phone calls to Careco to get a copy of his report where he had clearly misled me to sign for his visit and then sat in his van for 25 minutes writing his report to which he added my signature which suggested that I agreed with his findings which having finally seen his report I absolutely do not!!! I have now been informed that the replacement part will cost me another £80 and that the issue is down to normal wear and tear despite it being within the guarantee. I would add that I yesterday visited the store from where I purchased the chair and explained what had happened to the manager who said that the chair was still within guarantee so should be repaired and she would get my issue escalated which she did but unfortunately she’s powerless Absolute disgrace and will never deal with Careco again!!! Date of experience: 23 January 2024

Shame about the product. Delivery was great and timely cannot fault them there, Told sales staff I needed a sturdy chair that would take a weighty person. Received a standard chair they can barely fit in, Asked for arm rest and head covers, honestly I have bigger socks; and the head rest cover not there. complete waste of time and a large sum of money. Phoning up to complain was informed that I had signed in the shop so my fault.

Ihad my recliner chair for only 2 months when something went wrong with the foot rest ,the engineer came to look at it and immediately said too much weight had been placed on it ,i am 83,12 stone and 5ft 10 The next thing i got was a bill for £80 for the visit and another for £100 to get it fixed i am not going to pay any money to this company as they are not worth dealing with ,got my chair fixed with insurance and will never ever buy from this c company again USE A COMPANY YOU CAN TRUST BUT NOT THIS ONE

Having a problem now. Waited 2 weeks for a delivery due this week, in store they are saying 1 week, customer service say 6 weeks! And no one will commit to an exact date let alone a better guess. Why CareCo can you tell us what's going on????

My mother bought a mobility scooter 14months ago, it has stopped working presumably the battery, it was out of warranty by two months so we had to purchase a new battery £187, CareCo took the money and have now informed us it will be middle of January 2024 when stock is available, my mother is housebound now until then, how demoralising for her. CareCo have my email address so all emails come to me but now need my mother to sign an electronic form for her consent to allow CareCo speak to me, even though they send all emails to my address. Absolutely appalling service and treatment, elderly and vulnerable people shop at CareCo only to be let down by the products and service.

If you buy a product from this company and it's not suitable for purpose be prepared to be charged to return it! Hidden in their T&C's I even asked about returning the product and no mention of a returns fee! Appalling customer service!

If it’s out of warranty they’re not interested. They’re very interested in selling you something new! Definitely do not buy a care co product, because when it goes wrong you may as well throw it away ( mobility scooter)

Looked at website easy parking so parked outside entrance in bay with Blue Badge on view. They gave me a £60 parking ticket for not validating my ticket in store. Considering their old infirm client audience i would not expect better. Perhaps staff mentioning validation? To make it look like they care? Anyway be careful when parking there, i cannot return as i only get bitten once only glad i needed some measurements otherwise i would have bought and then had to pay a £60 bite fee.lol

0 stars from us! Absolutely incompetent customer service. No communication between staff members. Delay tactics to refund my 85 year old Mums items that were never delivered. Preying in the aged and venerable. Terrible company. Avoid!! Should be ashamed!!

27/06/23 CareCo took my scooter in for a minor repair. Four days later, it was confirmed the repair had been completed and was scheduled for delivery by courrier the next day. I tracked it on the courier’s website, said retailer had cancelled order. Contacted CareCo, they reassured me all was in hand. Still nothing days later and I am due to go away for a month for medical treatment and I still don’t have my scooter. No response by telephone 17 attempts to call them today. Customer service completely ineffectual. Avoid at all costs. Being disabled is not fun. Having to rely on incompetent and non communicative services is very disappointing and frustrating. Put yourself in my position CareCo…GET THE JOB DONE and satisfy at least one of your customers!

Product great after care appalling. The steering tilling joint broke on my scooter. Had to have an engineer call out even though I told them what was wrong. I just wanted the parts. Engineer came out (£80) and he told me what I told product services. Now have to pay to hold the part even though it will not be in stock until end of the month. Not a good service careco

Happy to take your money and give you advice on the more expensive products, purchase and within a few months fails in use and won’t replace but instead ask you to find packaging (wheelchair) to securely cover it and return whereby it will take weeks not days to obtain a part, then replace the part before returning in the meantime my mum who needs the wheelchair will be housebound because they won’t provide a loan product, spent over £600 barely 7months ago and this is the product support you receive.

Someone from Careco phoned me a d recommended I buy a skin patch. I paid over the phone. They sent me instead a big tube I never ordered and no skin patch. They took £30..99 from my account. I returned the tube which they arranged and the skin patch sample packs. I have not received a refund for the balance they owe me which is about £25 several weeks later. The only thing I have done wrong was to trust them to put their mistake right. I have spent hours trying to get fairly treated.

Misleading Delivery Advice Trying to buy a riser recliner chair for my Mum on their website. Picked the one I wanted - stated 'Available for delivery on Monday'. On completing the checkout process no such delivery option, contacted Customer Services who were rather vague and said that 'Available for delivery on Monday' meant that they could deliver it from Monday. Also the next day delivery price is misleading - states £24.95 but appears to be actually £39.95 (and I'm in Essex, not NI or Highlands of Scotland). Also, signed up for email notifications but never received their very generous £5 off (a £800 chair) code. Date of experience: 11 November 2022 Further - they had my review taken down from TrustPilot and I am now inundated with postal spam which can only have originated from them sharing my data.

Dreadful service, paid over £2000 for a mobility scooter while waiting for scooter unfortunately dad had a massive decline in health and we are now at end of life care. Several calls to care co re refund to be told refund given ….. god knows who too because it’s certainly not in our account, when asked to check the system is conveniently down!!!
