CarFax report helped me sell by BMW M3 2011 at a great price, since I printed a copy of the report to the person that was interested in purchasing my car, and with this I got more $$ for it than what I was going to ask. It also helped me track the quality of the new purchased I did on the Nissan GTR 2012. Thanks CarFax! Jose Rivera

Hello my name is Mark Rochester, I have never used CARFAX in the past. I had seen the commercials but was skeptical. I have used several different on line companies in order to research but in most cases the information is old, outdated or incorrect. I am an American living in Guadalajara, México. I recently made a deal on a beach property with a partial trade of a 2008 Ford Logo Limited Edition and cash. I was very excited as it is one of only 5000 made. After driving the vehicle, I noticed a problem with the suspension. I was also concerned with the mileage as it was just over 20,000 miles which seemed low for a 2008 model. I also noticed some of the body lines were off and some different colors in paint. I asked the owner if it had ever been in an accident. He stated it had not. At that point I thought of running a CARFAX. I went to the website and paid and ran a report. I found the complete history of the vehicle. It had been a total loss vehicle at a little over 3000 miles. It also had a salvaged title and had been purchased and rebuilt. The mileage at the time of the second purchase was over 42000 miles. Most likely the vehicle had over 60,000 or many more. I found it was a common practice in México to take a salvaged vehicle from the United States and get a new title in México. They do not have Salvaged titles here. I decided not to complete the deal unless they paid me in just cash. The deal went through, but it could have been a complete costly disaster if it were not for CARFAX. It is nice to know I could be in a Foreign Country and be able to show the seller that I am intelligent in my purchases. It also helped in my negotiation for the land purchase as they knew that I was well informed. Thanks to CARFAX I was able to make the right decision. Thanks again for your help and the great service you provide. I was Gratefully Satisfied. I will use you again! Mark Rochester

We started looking for a car months ago for our daughter and "boy" have I looked at a lot of pre-owned cars! When I started checking the "Car Fax" cars that appeared to be what we were looking for, it eliminated a lot of vehicles we would not consider purchasing. I found a pre-owned car that looked just right - one of the colors we were looking for, mileage agreeable, within the years we were looking for & really close in price. Honestly, I figured there would be something wrong when I ran the car fax, but was so excited to read the Car-Fax, drive approx. 100 miles, test drive the car & FINALLY, we'd found our daughter's car! Thanks Car-Fax.

We recently purchased a 2001 Tundra Truck with 94k miles for $9500.00 from a private party in great looking condition and paid what we thought was a great price. Went to register it found out the mileage was incorrect so we went home and ran a CarFax on it. The CarFax report came back showing it really had 214k miles on it, with our CarFax report in hand we were able to return the truck and get our money back, but only because we had a CarFax report to prove the fraudulent! Thank you CarFax!

Had a great experience. We sold two cars and bought a car and a truck. We had our truck shipped in and Out sales girl Danika was great always kept us informed of the where abouts of it and let us know Dailey the process to get it ready to be sold. Really professional and super friendly. Even the singing of paper work was 10-15 minutes and we were driving away. Honestly can't wait to buy another truck.

Carfax saved me an extra $500 as tje seller of Prius had listed the car as a 2007. Once i pulled up the Carfax on it, it turned out to be a 2006 so i was able to negotiate down the car $500 before driving 100 miles one way and finding out the surprise. He was eitjer lying and hoping i wouldn't see it on the Title of the vehicle or he really made a mistake. Carfax report was an investment, not an expense.

First Off I would not have ended up with such a wonderful truck if it hadn't been for CarFax Reports. Now then I ran about 70 CarFax reports out of the 70 Only about 10 of them had the mileage stated on there odometers thats right about 7% all the rest were are had been tampered with, How did I know this Simple CARFAX REPORT showed the correct mileage, Then begain the search for the Right Truck for Me "out of the 7%" narrowed it down to 3 Trucks I went and looked at WHAT a TIME SAVER.... Buy the Unlimited Package for the month Thank You CarFax Steven R. Nuevo Ca.

I had bought a truck from a dealership that was not actually truthfull. After finding mutliple problems with the truck I got nervous that it was actually a flood vehicle. I no longer trusted the dealership. Thanks to carfax I found out it was not. Carfax eased my mind.

I was looking at a used car on-line. I was very interested in it and was planning to look at it in person. I had arranged financing already and was prepared to make an offer. I noticed that the price was a bit high, and it had been listed for almost a year. I decided to look it up on Carfax, and found that it had previously had a salvage title, which was not disclosed in the ad! Needless to say, I didn't buy it! That was the best $40 I have ever spent!

I've used Carfax several times now and will continue to do so. The information provided is top notch an greatly helps when looking to purchase a used car. The estimated price deduction based on issue found is also a very nice touch. I'll never buy another car without running a Carfax on it first!

When I purchased a vehicle 2 years back it was noted that the vehicle had been in a "Minor" accident. I understand what that meant so I purchased the car and had no issues with it. Upon trying to sell the vehicle several prospective buyers had checked Carfax and opted not to purchase due to that "Minor" accident several years earlier. So in affect it cost me additional time to sell my car but I learned an important lesson. People do take the Carfax reports very seriously. That being said I purchased my most recent vehicle and passed up on many good cars that had "Minor" accidents reported as it truly will affect my resale of that car in the future. The truth is a car with no accident history did not cost me any more than one with but will affect it's future resale. Thanks Mark Blau mblau80@gmail.com

I was about to go on a 4 hour drive to get a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro LT which was priced lower than $16,000 but right before we were gonna go make the long trip. I decided to go ahead and pay for the Carfax on the vehicle. It turns out that this car not only had been in multiple accidents, but it also had flood damage and therefore had a salvaged title. The Carfax not only saved me a lot of time and money but also the disappointment of coming back home after a long trip empty handed.

I live in Austin Texas, I was buying my truck from a private party from Rockwall which is about 3hrs north of Austin. I talked to the owner about the pickup over the phone and agreed on a deal. I was still somewhat skeptical since I hadn't test driven it so I called him again got the vin# to the vehicle and ordered the carfax. I saw the records and it was a done deal. Next week, the family and I took a trip to Rockwall and closed the deal. I love my Tundra! I couldn't be any happier. Thank you Car Fax!

A last minute check of the Carfax report showed a minor incident with no damage, something that the report the dealer provided didn't show. I was able to negotiate additional savings.

I was looking at a 1995 corvette pace car. CARFAX SHOWED 91,000 MILES. It was obvious this was wrong. I contacted CARFAX, AS A RESULT THE MILEAGE WAS CORRECTED TO 41,477 MILES, BOTH ON MY CARFAX AND ON THE AZ TITLE. IBOUGHT THE CAR!

I was all set to buy this car from a private seller. Came home and my daughter brought the carfax online while I was cooking our dinner. Thank God and CARFAX she did because we found out it was listed as a LEMON!!! The car I did end up choosing had a minor accident listed on the carfax so I was educated enough to get an EXTENDED warranty on it. I will never buy a car without the carfax! Ever!

I started using carfax when I was referred by a coworker. At first I thought "what could possibly be wrong with a car. People are just trying to sell them". Boy was I wrong! Over a period of two months, I purchased the 5vin number check. The first five vehicles I found were a bust! Salvaged titles, failed emmisioms, rolled back odometer, liens, loans you name it! I ended up purchasing unlimited reports. Before I spent my time driving to the vehicle, I would run te car fax. 90% of the time when I asked for vin or license plate numbers, they would stop replying to my calls. I checked out my family's cars and found out my sisters car was in a accident that a dealer didn't report!!! I could not believe the amount if scammers there were. Ultimately it saved me days of driving and the probability of purchasing a garbage vehicle. I finally found the car I wanted. It was a 2005 toyota corolla. Carfax said nothing but great things about the car. I went through with the purchase and could never be happier! Even if you're buying from a dealer, run a carfax!!!! The last thing you want is a 5 year headache that could have been avoided for 10 dollars.
