“I was on a visit to Frisco TX area and located a nice used 8-year old car, single local owner. Carfax had a nice track record of maintenance. Drove it home over 1,000 miles and very happy with the purchase.”

“I was about to buy a bmw with problems with the pixels on the odometer. The owner told me it 195xxx Kms but upon checking the car fax it was actually at over 300000 Kms from the last report sent in. Needless to say, I didn’t buy the car”

“We searched for over 2 months for a truck with a clean CARFAX. When we found one, we read the CARFAX, test drove it, and bought it! Many dealers don't offer one - don't buy from them! A CARFAX is like a security blanket - don't drive home without one!!”

“People interested in my car ran Carfax and it showed I had multiple car accidents. It was all about all the times I had brought the car in for hail damage repair. Everyone thought they were car accidents! I ended up selling it to a dealer for $4000-$5000 below KBB. Little did I know I could have just taken the insurance money, not repair the car, and sell it for a little less. You cost me a lot of money. Never again!”

“I was in the market for a Plymouth Prowler. Found one in the Villages in Florida. Ordered the CARFAX. It convinced me that it was the original mileage and there had been no damage to the car. I bought it.”

“I was buying my very first car off of a friend and wanted to make sure I had the whole story of the car. CARFAX was a very helpful way of finding the complete history of the car without relying on what my friend could remember in terms of past maintenance and prior accidents. After reading the CARFAX I was confident that the car was in great condition and went on to purchase my very first car! I call her Little Subbie and she's awesome!”

“Car Fax and Ancestry com has something in common or maybe 2or more things and that is they are both a scam and a joke!! There are so many loop holes in both. Don't worry though because there are many more good people out there you can scam!!!!!!!”
