“It was good experience to select a good car. I had checked the price, test drive and every thing for a Honda car, only car history report was remaining. I purchased it and found front side collision with another car. I don't recommend to any one to buy a used car without checking carfax report.”

“CarFox had saved me from almost buying a car which has a structural damage reported on it, I would have ended up buying a car which has accident reported on it if I did not check CarFox. This is an amazing app and it helps a lot in buying a proper car especially when you are shopping for used cars, I would recommend everyone who is planning to buy pre-owned car to buy CarFox and check the VIN's. Even if you plan to buy a pre-owned from a dealer I would highly recommend to have your own CarFox to check the history instead of relying on the reports provided by dealer as they can be manipulated.”

“I was set to buy a 2002 Ford Focus for my girlfriend. I went home to get the money and decided to check the car fax. Turns out it had been totaled not once but twice! Thank goodness I checked! Thank you carfax!”

“The CARFAX report is actually helped my car to sold quickly. It was handy reference for the buyer as all history of the car's maintenance as well as incidents were cross referenced in there. Appreciate CARFAX Management team for having such a good history report of all cars. Friends of mine from different Countries do impress with this facility and they said to me this is good opportunity of knowing about the car that you are buying and it's available only in USA”

“I was looking for a particular Jeep and found it. Problem was it was 350 miles away. After numerous calls and making reservations for a rental car at the last minute I decided I had better not chance it and ran a Car Fax on it. Turns out it was a salvage title. The man insisted it was rebuilt and good as new. Had I not done a Car Fax I would have made the trip for nothing!!!”

“For older vehicles i think Car Fax could use some work but its a tough job to try and dig up history on a vehicle that's older than 10 years. In one instance i found some incorrect information but on the whole i felt much better knowing all the information that i had walking into the used car transaction. Car Fax ultimately helped me negotiate down my final price and gave me confidence knowing that i had a detailed history on the car i was buying.”

“Oh CARFAX, you are a life saver, I had a limited amount of money to spend on a new car for myself, due to my current car having the frame about come into. My son said mom you need to be careful, use CARFAX, I started not to due to the cost, but I am so thankful I listened to him. One vehicle I looked at that the owner tells me his sister bought the car new, I ran your car fax and it had been in several wrecks and had been owned by at least 5 different people. When people want to sell something they will tell you anything. Thank you for saving me from buying a disaster. You have a wonderful service.”

“I used it to purchase a 2001 camaro ss, I found out my car was original a corporate (rental) car in the beginning. I then used the vehicle history report to corroborate with what the seller was telling me so I could make sure everything was lining up. I then felt comfortable enough to make an offer and purchase the vehicle, thanks again carfax!”

“If you're looking to buy a car then Carfax is the first stop. I was very specific when buying my car. It HAD to be an 06 Mustang GT Convertible, black, automatic with red leather interior and low mileage...period. That's exactly what I got! Thanks to Carfax I was able to search the entire USA for the love of my life..my dream car, based on preferences and THERE IT WAS!!!!! Since carfax has so many tools to makes buying safe and easy, I was confident when I went all the way from Texas to Indiana and brought my baby home!!! Now the mycarfax garage helps me keep my car records with tools for easy maintenance. THANKS CARFAX!!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!!!”

“Thanks to car fax I could avoid buying this Mercedes 560sl, which the owner described excellent, no accident, one owner classic. Car-fax record showed me the car had 3 owners and was involved in accident. Thank you Car-fax.”
